“So, last night a group of 12 of us supposedly had reservations at the 1700 steak place in the Hilton. Upon arriving they did not have our reservations. Called Bacco to see if they could accommodate our large party. They said they could. I have to say… they were fantastic! We were seated downstairs and our waitress was FANTASTIC! There were some call offs and only two servers and she handled our group like a champ. She was personable,sweet, nice and very engaging and accommodating with anything we asked! I wish I could remember her name but, unfortunately I can’t! We totally enjoyed ourselves and the food was awesome!“

“Every time I come in here I’m surprised. The bar staff is attentive, the prices are the best in the city and sometimes the owner even decides to feed everybody on a whim. There’s always a friendly person to talk to and almost everytime somebody sends a drink my way. Each time i see improvements being done to the interior too. I’m sad that I moved further away right as this place was gaining traction. Truly a hometown hero spot that welcomes everybody. Almost makes you want to keep it a secret but then that wouldn’t help them. Come in for a drink afterwork. Its something different.“

“I came here cause word of mouth some of the best wings around in central Pennsylvania/ Harrisburg area. I’ve been hooked since. Wednesday 5p-10pm $6.50 pound in house wings. Heather the only cook does the best! (it might be a bit of a wait, but she delivers the most ultra crispy wings ever) I got butter garlic parm and hot garlic wings in these photos.“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

“I have been asking for a decade what happened to all the REAL bars in America-if you want an actual old school dive bar-this is it!!! Has the atmosphere that everyone knows everyone on a Tuesday at noon-has cheap drinks, juke box, pool table etc. and PEOPLE-people that speak to each other-I feel like every bar now people go with their friends so they don’t meet people in the bar-NOT the case with this place!! BE CAREFUL. if you're not going in a group then DONT GO. there are a TON of sketchy men that go here. the bathrooms are ridiculously disgusting and the men's room door wasn't even shut?? the music was great for the most part as well.“

“If you're in Newport and looking for a drink, this is the place. It's not pretty, but it is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Beware, they allow smoking but not vaping inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Patrons and staff alike were friendly.

Parking: It's best to park in town and just walk as there aren't really any parking options at the bar itself.“
