The prices are outrageous 6.00 for a small sundae and 7.09 for a small artic swirl. Thier ice cream is good but it is not that good. I will not be going back to that price gouging

Absolutely love the custard!! I always stop when I'm in town. I would have given a rating of 5 stars but obviously Lynn wasn't there because instead of cleaning the dirty tables and the counter, the employees were standing around chatting. Two employees walked by the tables on their way to the restroom, looked at the them, and chose to ignore them!!! Not what I expect from The Meadows ?
A family favorite going back to the 50s when my in-laws were kids. Always try to stop here on the way home from Western PA. The soft serve is excellent, the flavors of the day are good. Great 50s "sock-hop"

One of the best little ice cream shops in Altoona. We had fresh frozen custard. The atmosphere of the shop and the staff was excellent. A must see when in the area.

The Meadow's Custard Stand has been a local favorite since the 1950's. The smooth custard is a little different from traditional soft serve ice cream. Daily flavors to choose from. Great place to stop at especially during a warm Summer evening. Try the mini golf while you are there.
