The chicken noodle soup was what I have been searching for in this area for a long time. Being sick, I sent my husband on the hunt. This tasted as it was seasoned by a loving Nonna making soup for her family. It has given me a second wind.
First time we ever got food there, but definitely won't be the last.

Ordered the Mile High Pastrami and Chicken Caesar Wrap. There was nothing "mile high" about this sad little sandwich on dried out half stale bread. Caesar wrap was filled with brown rusted lettuce, unseasoned chicken, and watery caesar dressing. Worst experience to date here.

First before talk about this experience, i just want to say this never happened before, it was always great until today. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich come to find out i was given a chicken and cheese; and THEN i tried to reorder it and she said no, thats what i ordered. And i would have been fine with it if the CHICKEN WAS NOT COLD. My mom got a samewitch with not hot peppers and they gave her hot pepper and missed up my sisters samewitch and did not even give her what she order. Everyone was so rude in there idk if i would EVER wanna go there again.

Family owned and local! I love this place. Always fresh, you can buy sauces by the quart which are homemade. Best and only white pasta fagioli I have ever had… I’m obsessed!!!!!!!
I ordered the Strawberry Chicken salad that was on special. It was so filling, I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Perfect summer lunch.

Cara Mia's in Dunmore has been our beloved lunch spot for over 20 years, and we never tire of it! This gem offers a fantastic variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizza that keeps us coming back week after week. Each dish is prepared with care, delivering consistent quality and flavor.
The soups are always flavorful and comforting, perfect for any time of the year. The salads & sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and offer a delightful combination of tastes and textures. Their pizza is simply delicious, with a perfect crust and just the right amount of toppings. This is one of my mother's favorite pizzas ever made.
However, the highlight has to be their frozen meat sauce. It’s the best we have ever had, rich and hearty, making any meal at home feel special. We always make sure to stock up on it!
Cara Mia's friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make every visit a pleasure. If you're in the area and looking for a fantastic lunch spot, Cara Mia's is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
