I was there for the first time today for breakfast for my birthday and the food was fantastic! The croissant wich was delicious and the home fries were probably the best I’ve ever had!
Yum! So much yum! The food was great! The neighborhood comfortable. Avocado toast and the croissant wich were both so tasty. The toast was very fresh bread.
The restaurant is very quaint, and really cute. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. The food was awesome. Our server was amazing! Loved every minute of it! Parking is a little crowded because it’s on street parking in a neighborhood but honestly well worth The struggle To find a spot.

Had a lovely breakfast with my sister today at Henry's on Clay. I saw Carla, and we had a very nice server named Katie! Such a wonderful experience as the food was really good! We tried for our first time the Avocado toast with additional fried egg, which was Amazing, the quinoa with roasted vegetables, fried egg also delicious!! Topped it off with the most delicious bluberry scone! Worth the stop and much needed sister time! Thank you for the great experience we will be back!! Jacki & Bonnie

Was on a 24 hour road trip to make furniture delivery’s first stop of the day was down the road from this place it was styled very nice the staff all seemed hip and cool and all the customers were clean and pleasant. The hangover hash must of had 10 pounds of melted cheese. It was extremely good.

I do not live near Dunmore but had spent the night there and looked for a unique breakfast restaurant and I was certainly not disappointed. I had Buddy Clarke's Hangover Hash, ordered an extra egg on top. That was almost a mistake as I would have had an almost overfilling meal without the extra egg. The quality of the meal and the portion was certainly enough to carry me well into the day. The service was good, the atmosphere on a rainy Saturday morning was great, and my breakfast was very tasty and filling. I will definately make it a point to visit HOC if I am ever near there again. I even met Ellie on my way out and enjoyed a quick conversation with her.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. I ordered the “Belgian” waffles. They don’t advertise that they contain sugar crystals. No big deal, until I told the waiter I didn’t like them. I felt as though they could have removed the item from my bill but there was a bit of back and forth about it saying since it is a preference they don’t remove it. They did eventually give me half off. But we were unfortunately met with attitude about this. It is almost like we should not dislike something that we order. I would recommend advertising that your waffles contain sugar crystals so customers can opt out if they like before having to pay $10 for a meal that was not eaten.

Creative menu- the food was outstanding! So so good. We ordered The Ellen -grilled salmon on a croissant with pickled jalapeños, slivers of carrot and onions and cheddar cheese with a side salad. Could use more jalapeños. The Sienna - a sunny side up egg on a sesame bagel with lots of creamed avocado and fresh mozzarella, good size pieces of crispy bacon, a few raspberries and blueberries, sprinkled with toasted pistachios served with the most delicious home fries - Good Lord! Could use more berries was the one comment from my bf. We sat by the step leading to the back dining area and I found it distracting because EVERY time the servers went up and down the one step it reverberated our table, chair, my body, my head- I had a headache so I felt these steps- I refrained from asking for another table. I would not sit there again.

I love everything about this place, from coffee to breakfast and lunch to bakery items. It's a warm atmosphere with knowledgeable, personable servers. The food is served promptly and it's delicious. Very clean. On-street parking is a breeze. It's hard for me to think about going anywhere else for lunch when I am in the Dunmore area.
Vegetarian options: You could find things to eat without issue and your server can explain everything in each menu item.
Dietary restrictions: The service is terrific. I'm sure the would be happy to assist in making appropriate choices for various dietary concerns.
Kid-friendliness: Kids would like this place.

everything is just amazing and so much love for what they do goes into the food. they take the responsibility of feeding others as a privilage and they do it beautifully every day
Was seated in front of a door and the brisk cold air made me think our food would be cold before it even reached us. We moved to a much nicer table once one became available. Our food was hot and delicious and so filling. The eggs were surprisingly fluffy and the matcha was made well which is not common in this area. Overall a decent brunch spot. May go again but next time in the summer.
Dietary restrictions: They are able to accommodate non dairy options.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring a kid here but it depends on the kid.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheel chair friendly. Small spaces and a bit crowded.

I am so disappointed with this place. I was there a few times after they opened and I never had a good experience. I tried to give it another chance but it still disappointed.
I was there with my daughter for breakfast during a snow storm so not busy at all. I took 2 hours to get two slices of toast with avocado and home fries and an order of French toast. People kept coming after me and they got their food in no time. The service was horrible to the point that after I didn’t leave a tip due to the bad service the I received and the poor quality of food the waiter followed me and my daughter to the car and asked me why I didn’t leave a tip. I explained to him that my drink (tea was cold) my food took almost two hours to get and that people that got there after me got it and I waited all that time. He proceeded to get really upset and told me “you are Fn rude for not leaving a tip” in front of my 9 year old daughter. So if you have time to waste and willing to go sit for hrs to get okay quality food then go, other wise Dunmore/Scranton area has other great cafe with better food and service. Don’t let the posts on social media fool you.
