Disappointing Reservation ExperienceI recently had an extremely disappointing experience with La Cucina. After calling well in advance on Thursday, March 28th to make a reservation for a party of eight on Saturday, April 6th, I expected a smooth and accommodating process. However, my expectations were shattered when, just two days before our planned dinner, on April 4th, I received a call informing me that the restaurant was fully booked and unable to accommodate our party.This last-minute cancellation left me scrambling to find an alternative venue with only a two-day notice. Not only was this inconvenience frustrating, but it also created unnecessary stress and uncertainty for our group. The lack of foresight and organization displayed by La Cucina in managing their reservations is truly disappointing.Furthermore, the manner in which this situation was handled lacked professionalism. A cancellation of this magnitude should have been communicated well in advance, allowing us ample time to make alternate arrangements. Instead, we were left in the lurch, feeling disregarded and inconvenienced.In the future, I hope that La Cucina takes proactive measures to avoid similar mishaps and prioritizes better communication with their patrons. As it stands, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I cannot in good conscience recommend La Cucina to others until significant improvements are made in their reservation management and customer service.

My friends and I went there to celebrate my one friends Birthday. The waiter came to our table told us specials and went away so we could decide what we wanted in the middle of taking the first person's order he got a phone call and explained it was very important so he walked away, came back finished taking our orders and we never saw him again until he gave us our bill the food was very good I would highly recommend it but the service sucked!Parking: Had to have 30 or more spots

The service was exceptional. It was lovely and very relaxing. The food was incredible and the portions, I had to take mine home. This did not stop us from having the delicious desserts. Best date night.

Good parking for Scranton. Nice large dining area, well appointed and clean.Our waiter was a bit dry and monotone but efficient.Meals were very good. Risotto, Scampi, Gnocchi all fresh and hot.Soups were very well done and tasty.

Came for lunch. The dining room is not too large. They have a nice bar area. And there is a deli attached in the adjacent building. The lunch menu was nice. Good prices for the portions. Servers were nice. Homemade chips are soo delicious!!

I ordered "sole filet" but it was tilapia. It came with rice which was baby food and the salad came with a whole bottle of dressing on it. My husband had New York Strip Steak and that poor cow died 2xs over. Here's my shoe it taste better. And the most important thing was my sons...the bday boys Ugh....said we prefer your cooking mom. How do eff up frozen and jar pasta. $250 not worth IT. service was good.

I was in the mood for Italian and tried this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked into the bakery area, and the nice man directed me. I sat at the bar and a nice lady gave me the menu. The place was very nice. Alan was the bartender, and I started with the lemon drop martini, and it was super sweet, so after that, I had the pinot nior. I had the special stuffed salmon. When it came out, it looked good. I dug in, and it was very tasty. The bill was super affordable! All in all I had a good experience.
