This place is terrible I ordered oxtail with rice and Mac n cheese. The rice was not cooked it was very hard not sure why anyone would serve that. The cheese in the make and cheese taste strange. And the oxtail was excessively salty
I found it by accident. And I am so glad that I did.The ladies that own it have the perfect southern charm to go with their perfect southern soul cooking. They are from Georgia and you can taste it.I had the wing dinner. Perfectly seasoned perfectly fried wings. Mac and cheese so cheesy and amazing. And the sweet potatoes. Oh my the sweet potatoes. They were hands down the best I ever had. Creamy and sweet and perfect. It was all so amazing. The food, the service, everything. Such an amazing hidden little gem.I will be back for sure.(They have all you can eat on Sunday’s for TWENTY DOLLARS!)
Definitely not southern but the chicken was good
Bomb.com definitely Some Soul Food
The food was AMAZING, service IMPECCABLE! Definitely prepared by blessed hands. My children ate every bite which is rare when we order out! 10 stars
OMGGG! OKAY!FIRST OF ALL!!!! YOU CAN SMELL THE SEASONING BEFORE YOU EVEN OPEN IT!!!! ::insert praise break here:: Somebody's aunt or uncle is in the kitchen making meals for us like it's Sunday Dinner. They are picking cuts of fish and chicken making sure they get seasoned like our ancestors taught us. Someone poured the love of 4 generation into this dishes. Not a wing was dry or overcooked. The hushpuppies were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Baby, NOTHING, is bland here. Finally, soul food that slaps is back in Pittsburgh!
Definitely not southern but the chicken was good
