The Barn is an old school bar with a separate dining room in Eagles Mere. While its outside looks like a locals' hangout, the atmosphere inside is excellent and welcoming, attracting families, golfers, and travelers. The place is often packed, which can lead to a wait for food, but it is definitely worth the visit.
The food receives high praise. The loaded fries, barn burger, and wings—especially ordered extra crispy and extra wet—are fantastic. The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks are considered among the best on the menu. The homemade soups are also highlighted as some of the best. However, some find the regular fries a bit bland. The full bar offers beer and cherry coke.
Service is friendly and well above expectations, making guests feel right at home. It is considered the best place to eat in the area and a great spot for an adventure, with many customers eager to return.
