“We have eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. The host/server is very kind and courteous. The service is a little slow, but not too bad for freshly prepared food.The food is very good - not exactly like Indian food I have eaten at other places, but with related flavor profiles - and much better in some instances. We loved the samosa chaat on both visits: a great mix of hot and cold ingredients and very well balanced sauces. I have had the saag paneer (which tasted more of spinach than what I have eaten elsewhere and was silky smooth) and the butter chicken (succulent, with well-cooked chicken and a tasty gravy). The naan is beautifully light and puffy.We are not big eaters, and the two of us shared the chaat and the butter chicken today and were more than satisfied with the quantity. The time we ate chaat, saag paneer, and goat curry, we took food home.I find both the screen advertising the food and the talk radio distracting and irritating, but I am slowly becoming resigned to the idea that restaurants that are not fast food places will assault me with unwanted media when I would prefer to talk quietly with my partner. Fortunately, the program changed soon after our arrival. But I would rather have music if there had to be any audio at all.“

We had the Baladi sampler with Kibbeh (amazing, just like my Lebanese friend's mom used to make); My husband had the lamb shawema and I had the kafta wrap and we had the yummy homemade cake for dessert and the peanut butter ice cream! “Service is good just a little slow and I mean a LITTLE. Atmosphere is ok...like any other store you have to have for your food at. It's definitely clean inside. As far as the food...not a HUGE fan of the fried wings but the breaded hot wings are FIRE! And I also have become addicted to the well done chicken and rice with the salad. Extra white sauce and light hot! It's so good. Fried chicken is better with those delicious rolls they put with the platter“

“Coming from Philly that’s surrounded by Halal trucks , this has been our go to spot since moving to KOP. We usually get the chicken and rice and fish and rice. We are never disappointed. Our platters are always full and good. The salad is fresh and the sauces are on point.“

The staff was friendly and accomodating, and made sure I got everything I wanted. There were some other patrons hanging out, and it was very well-lit, to the point that the street outside was lit up by the lights in the building. So it felt very clean and open.“

“Yes!! This place nails it with the food and flavor. It's your classic hole in the wall place that one would never think of even getting any sort of food in, but one that's a gem in hiding. I am originally from the nyc area and was spoiled with amazing falafel and shawarma food...Halal carts/Mamouns etc and have been craving some good middle eastern sandwiches. The falafel sandwich was crisp and fresh, flavorful, and filling. Fries were freshly made. And the men behind the counter were very nice. This will be a go to!“

KIRAN always does a great job in making the scrumptious Chicken Tandoori pizza and the mouth watering samosas!! He makes sure that the food is made fresh and is of highest quality.
