This place was awesome, besides it being a grocery store it's also a market. Fresh produce, bakery, etc. they have your typical name brand items but also homemade items to buy. It's an Amish area so they have stuff they made as well which is always great. I got the Turkey and swiss sandwich, chicken gyoza dumplings, a lemonade and some potato chips. The Shady Maple Farm Market is a place that you should NOT go to if you are hungry. I wanna just give a shout out to their donuts. Honestly the best donuts I have ever had with such a big variety. Such a good price for a dozen too! They are always so fresh. My family and I always grab a dozen when we are in the area. My personal favorite is the cinnamon sugar, the glazed, or the cookies and cream filled.
This place is amazing. Can't recommend it enough. As far as smoked meats, they make their own sausage. On my visit, I picked up a pack of habanero mango and Hmong, a Vietnamese sausage you would typically only find in an Asian supermarket and contains my four favorite ingrediants: chilis, garlic, and ginger. Both were unbelievable. Bakery: after 4pm, they'll announce everything is half off. Not sure if this is all the time or on rare occasions. Don't pass this up. And don't dawdle...read full review
