My favorite place EVER. 1st place I tried when I moved from California and continue going back. I was sad when they closed for Covid. When I found out they reopened, I literally ordered food every day. People are nice and always get my order right. Must go and try if you haven't.
My family and I wanted to try a different Chinese restaurant today so we stopped by Golden Star to order takeout . The exterior was clean and the inside looked a bit worn but still clean. Their tiles could use some replacing as I noticed black substance on the surrounding tiles. The service was quick even though we added an extra item to our order. Super small spot with just a couple of tables to dine in, so this is primarily a takeout restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. I tried the cold sesame noodles, beef on a stick, and garlic chicken. It was great portions, and tasted delicious.
