The meat was tender and the sweet potato fries were delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich, as well as passion fruit tea. I enjoyed it I’d go again when I’m in the area

If I had to choose a last meal on earth it would be from here. So what if you have to sit by the side of 209 - look the other direction. This food is love. My favorite is the brisket with greens and sweet potato fries. The portions are so big there's seconds and thirds. And it's so damn good every time.

The best description is to call it a hole in the wall. You wouldnt think how much of a hidden gem it is until you step inside. The service was good everyone had smiles, the food was delicious, we couldn’t even help it when it came to desert!! If anyone asks i will send them this way!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. We were at the zoo next door and decided to stop over afterwards and we were SO glad we did! The atmosphere was so welcoming and inviting as were the staff! They introduced themselves and chatted with us for a bit. We had their special for Labor Day, curry shrimp and jerk salmon. Both were to die for. We also got the mango lemonade and it was so good we had to take another to go. They had card games which we played as we waited for our food. Everything was clean and it seemed like a place that community should gather in and hang out while they eat good food. My only complaint is that it’s 2 hours from where we live but I guesssss that’s not their fault ?. 10/10 for food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back and let all of our family and friends know about them!

This place might look like it was previously an ice cream shop, but the food is amazing! I can't rember her name,but she was on one of the hells kitchen ,or master chef shows.
But the flavor and quality of her food is worth going to!!.delicious.
The inside is modern casual decor and very comfortable. I only wish we lived closer so I could eat there when ever I wanted

I walked in and smelled the food and I knew I was in the right place. The food was absolutely delicious!!! If you are in the area you shouldn't pass this by!!!

Very nice place, friendly staff. Delicious fried chicken and onion rings. We finished with ice cream which was also delicious.
Just go ahead and unbutton the top button of your pants!!!!! We always try to eat here when we are in the area camping. Even got to play cards while we waited for our food. Great food, Great staff, and one heck of a full belly (again, lol). Thank you!

We passed this cute joint by and on the return trip we stopped by to grab some food. What a fantastic little gem, soul food and a great atmosphere with music. There were plenty of comfy seating options and when our food arrived we devoured every bite! The pulled pork and coleslaw were delicious and the sweet tea definitely hit the spot. We will be back!!

I never ate their but whoever the lady working thier was rude i asked for a trash can for my kids diaper that I changed and she said it's not my trash

Just stopped here with family and friends. 8 of us, 4 adults, 3 kids and a baby. The chef was by herself cooking, taking orders and cleaning up. She absolutely knocked it out of the park! Between everyone we had chicken fingers, French fries, Mac and cheese, cheesesteak brisket, cheeseburger, double smash burger, chicken pesto sandwich and chicken cheesesteak. Every item was absolutely out of this world! We will be back and I hope anyone who reads this review uses it as a reason to go and give it a shot! You will not be disappointed!

The staff was very friendly, and the food sincerely surprised us. I had the cuban sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. My wife for some reason ordered the Salmon BLT, which didn't make sense based on where this place is located, but she was so glad she did cause it was also delicious! My kids got the chicken fingers, which were clearly hand battered chicken tenders, not pre-frozen bagged stuff. And the mac & cheese was some solid, southern style, super flavorful mac n cheese. If I had one critique, it would be that the portions were a bit small, but I think still fair relative to the price. Definitely would return!
