I would have given the service a 5 but we arrived before 5pm with no reservations to a more than 1/2 empty restaurant. After much "searching" on the screen (for a good 5 minutes) as if there was some huge crowd of people coming in (or already seated) we were offered a hi top table near the bar. The table was okay but the hostess acting like the place was so busy was totally unnecessary and we could have been seated at a regular table (PLENTY were open) and not gotten an arctic blast whenever the restaurant door opened. Unwarranted pretentiousness is just irritating. The atmosphere in the restaurant is typically fine but THIS time there was an obnoxiously loud male seated at the bar. He was there alone but found it necessary to engage with other bar patrons loudly most of the time we were there dining. I mean this guy was LOUD and he was really the only person you could hear aside from the television. Please train your staff to ask rude patrons to keep it down to respect other diners experience or perhaps the bartender just should have cut him off. These two things tainted this particular visit but I do always love the food at this restaurant. At least that did not disappoint. The clams scampi were sublime and the branzino delicious!

What a wonderful restaurant! The food was amazing. I went there with my sister and niece while visiting. Our waitress, Collette, was absolutely one of the best! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. She was attentive and personable. It was a first-time visit for all of us. We had a great meal, great service and made some great memories. I would highly recommend 3rd & Ferry Fishmarket. The ambiance & atmosphere were spot on. Great place overall. We will definitely be back.

I reserved a reservation for December 31st for 3 people (parents & me) for 9:45pm. A little noisy, but it is New Year's Eve. Immediately serviced by a professional & very cheerful waiter who brought a fresh & very cold jug of water, he left the jug at the table which was nice. Drink menu was nice & expansive which was great. I love fruity alcoholic drinks & there was a very nice selection of both alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks (I had a Clementine's Berry/The Hibiscus Frost, Mom had a Clementine's Berry/Dirty Viking, Dad had a smoked whiskey/old fashioned). For appetizers, my parents had a selection of raw oysters which they were very satisfied with while I had the Baked Crab Marconi & Cheese which had a LOT of real succulent crab meat in it mixed with creamy cheese sauce (piping hot too!). For entrees, my mom had Twin Tail Dinner (the tails were broiled) & my father & I had the Surf & Turf specials. The 5oz filets that came with the specials were done to our satisfactions (my father had medium rare & I had a rare steak that I asked for it to have a nice crust on it). Both filets were succulent & my especially was butter soft! For dessert, my mother had the key lime pie & I had the creme brulee, both were prefect! We couldn't have asked for a better time!

I had dinner here on my birthday. Overall the food was good, but the dinner rolls were just generic and the market salad was not worth the extra cost.

Food is absolutely amazing here. Seafood is fresh and the staff is courteous and attentive.

Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate Gluten Free relatively easily not sure it's celiac level safe though .

Parking: We found a parking lot around the corner that is very inexpensive.

Always a good place for seafood.
Calamari was good but mostly large rings, personally prefer smaller ones. Service was okay, bartender was too occupied with set up to provide good service.

We sat at the bar, Matt was an amazing bartender and server. Considering how busy, everything from service to food was perfect.

Service was just off tonight, food was very poor and rushed. Kitchen was just pushing food out and not worrying about quality and presentation. Very poor meal as this is our tradition every christmas eve. Not really happy that i had to have such a poor dinner. Very disappointed.
