The food was excellent, and portions were very good. Our server was also very good. However, we went to the bar to get some drinks during happy hour before our reservation time. Bartender said drafts were $2 off. She had trouble finding one of the drafts we ordered in the POS system. The owner (or manager?) was right there and he told her that particular draft was not included in happy hour and also told her how to enter the other drinks in the system. Would have been good to know that beer wasn't included before we ordered. Also, there were four of us, and only three available bar stools. He was sitting on the next bar stool. You would think he would offer that seat to a guest so they don't have to stand.

This was our first visit ! Set in a residential neighborhood in a vintage home . Just a warm welcoming atmosphere that was decorated with flowers and lighting . The service was excellent, drinks were great and the food was served perfectly. Just a great place for an intimate dinner or a group of friends.

First I have to stress the server was very pleasant and it wasn’t entirely her fault for the experience we had.
We had reservations for 4 (3 adults 1 toddler) @530pm on a Friday evening. We sat down about 525pm. After placing our orders about 20min in of us sitting, We waited another Hour and a Half (1.5hrs) for one appetizer and our 4 entrees.
The owner came over to apologize for the delay about 45min of us waiting, explaining they had a health inspection halt all services. I know this to be a false statement as health inspectors insist you continue service as usual so they can INSPECT you and the goods being served. I know this to be true as I myself am a chef and have been in the food industry for over 20years. I know the usual practices and procedures of unannounced health/food safety inspections. If the line was shut down it was because of a major public health issue that was probably resolved with completely removing said product(s) and starting anew.
Well my hypothesis was confirmed when the serve did confide in me the cooler was at a higher temperature then it should have been so the cooks had to Throw away and start service anew.
I wasn’t completely disgusted bc like I said I’ve been in this business many years and everything that could go wrong usually does during a State Inspection.
BUT during this horribly long time of waiting, and don’t get me wrong we were chatting away with an old friend so the time wasn’t standing still, per se. BUT we were only offered ONE small plate of cheese n crackers AND ONLY after saying we (especially my 5 year old child) were starving.
There were 3 other tables in the front dinning room that had already finished eating or were in the process of being served during our wait time. So I really didn’t understand the massive hold up until the sever told me about the line products being ditched.
At the one hour mark my toddler was so starved we were about ready to just leave when the server said she will bring us more crackers n cheese (it never came). Our food arrive almost exactly at 645pm and in my “risotto” was long grain rice cooked with milk, my daughters salmon (that was served way LAST btw) was fishy so she couldn’t eat it, my fathers crab fried rice didn’t have any crab in it 😒, and my friend was too starved and embarrassed for suggesting this place she didn’t say a word about her lamb.
I paid for our dinner (ZERO COMPs offered), only to then be asked aftet payment if we all wanted desserts. “Ok, Sure” we all said. How nice of them, we thought bc SHE really was a very nice server…. But nope! Got a separate check for that too.
So 2hours and $200 later, it’s Safe to say that we will never go back there again.
All went well until later in the evening, who seemed to be the owner. She was cranky and rude to her employees. Our party felt horrible for them. We haven't been back. It's too bad a local place we would rather travel elsewhere.
What an absolutely beautiful quaint establishment with personality and class!! From the moment you enter you feel at home and comforted! Our sever Carly was very attentive and helpful with food choices and service. Very delicious and delightful atmosphere and would very highly recommend Ashley's to anyone looking for delicious food and warm atmosphere!

We had high hopes for this dining experience. It was my birthday and my husband and son planned a nice night out for us. When we arrived for our dinner reservation at 6:00 at around 5:50pm we waited quite a long time for the waitress to show up but figured it was bc we arrived 10 mins early. When she did arrive she was pleasant and asked if we wanted drinks. We eventually ordered appetizers and got our drinks. The wings were amazing 10/10 and the brussel sprouts were good but found the peanuts on them out of place. My son got fish and chips and they were good and so was my husband’s crab cake. My dinner was okay and I got the portobello mushroom sandwich with no bun. They told my husband they would bring a special cupcake with a candle for my birthday which never came and we waited a long time after getting our food to see the waitress again and had to ask for our check so we could leave. The decor of the restaurant seems old and outdated as was the stained chair covers. The air conditioning with old towels surrounding it was off putting. If the menu wasn’t as pricey, things like the decor could be possibly overlooked. We feel that when a restaurant isn’t packed and they ask if we are celebrating and they offer a special birthday item, it shouldn’t be forgotten. There were two other tables besides us.
Loved it. Very creative decor. Food was great too. Excellent service.
Best partner Best food, awesome food. FRANK is the best partner in lehigh valley....old fashions are off the chain
I have been here a few times and have always had a great meal. I like that they change their menu with the seasons and have specials.
Easton's best kept secret. With the visit in every way.
