My wife and I dined here last Saturday and had breakfast omelets. The food was excellent, serving size good and wait time with text notification very acceptable. Only caveats were skinny parking spaces, strong coffee and out server was a little difficult to understand as it was obvious that English wasn't her native language. The cherry on top, was the credit card payment didn't incur any fees, very refreshing. We will be back.

Diner 248 is a consistent diner with the usual dishes and above average quality in exchange for a shorter menu. Service is fast, tables and vibe are casual, and there are multiple televisions for college or pro football.

I got the salmon avocado salad (tasty! Good size portion). Hubs got the fish and chips. In laws got the burgers. All left content and full. They have a kids menu with plenty of choices. I like that they used mixed greens more than iceberg lettuce...

This is everybody’s favorite diner. Great food. Good prices. The servers are pleasant and competent, they serve liquor, parking is never a problem and sometimes I think it’s the only place open to eat in the county on Mondays.
