What a great find, I got a the triple Whiting, Wings, and Shrimp. All 3 fries to perfection flavorful and big portions. Very filling, appetizing and memorable. ITS A MUST TRY AND TRY AND TRY AGAIN. TELL THRM I SENT YOU.

My husband and I along with my church family went to Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA to see the biblical history of Daniel, brought to life on stage. Friday the 18th of October 2024. On our way home Sunday to Rochester, NY; we decide to stop at this restaurant (Family Chicken and Waffles) before we hit the road… THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!! Food was amazing. The collard greens beyond excellent. Cornbread had a little syrup at bottom just perfect.
Sweet potato excellent.
If you like southern food. Don’t walk run and get some fantastic food.

I came here with my mom this past weekend, because my family was ranting and raving about the food. I ordered the whiting platter and it came with Mac, yams, greens and cornbread! When I tell you I was so delighted by the freshness, the flavor, the presentation of this food omg. This is by far the best soul food restaurant I’ve ever been to! The service was warm and inviting and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere! I’ll be coming from New York again in about 3 weeks for the Garlic Festival just so I can come back and try the wings platter! Keep up the great work yall! I loved it!

It was all batter and no fish. It tastes horrible.
Had the whiting, chicken wing and flounder platters. The 4 sides were on point. Delicious food. A lot of customers on a Saturday. Order ahead so you can eat right away. I live in Forks and have heard about this place but thought it was only catering. Then some friends came to visit and wanted soulfood so we checked it out. Glad we did!

The food is phenomenal just feel as though always a different price every time I call. I get 1 platter and it’s $50 dollars. I be so confused.

The lobster shrimp combo was delicious, will absolutely return. Prices can be a bit out there but it's so worth it. I'm not sure why the recent reviewer believes their race should factor into their reviews?
