Stopped by last week with hubby. The food is very salty. They gave it to you in a paper to go container so if youāre driving more than 30 minutes to get back home, the paper is gonna be disintegrated and all your food wet from the condensation. The customer service is horrible, itās not warm or welcoming, the meat was dry. The collard greens are absolutely disgusting. The cashier rings you out with no formal eye contact just looking at the TV up ahead like if you ordering food is interrupting his show. I will never go back.

My family ordered from here this past Sunday. We ordered from here once before same time last year. Clearly things have changed!!! The Mac and cheese tasted weird, no one liked it. My niece was also overcharged for an order she didnāt receive and the owner was quite rude to her. We wonāt be back!!!

The chicken and waffles? Absolutely unreal. Crispy, golden-fried chicken with a perfect crunch, seasoned down to the boneāpaired with fluffy, buttery waffles that melt in your mouth. The syrup was warm, and the balance of sweet and savory was spot-on.
The seafood was just as incredibleāfresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with care. Every dish had that soulful touch, like it came from someone who truly loves to cook.

It was good. The sampler plate is a great idea, I just wish portion sizes were a little bigger. I am going back again. The cornbread was very, very, very good.

I took out a small fried shrimp platter this evening and oh my gods. It was everything I was looking for. They definitely bread the shrimp themselves, and it usually comes with 4 sides: Mac n cheese, collard greens, sweet potato, and corn bread. They switched me out the collards for extra Mac (I donāt eat meat) and I'm so glad they did because the Mac n cheese is YUMMMMYYYYYY!!! The entire plate was delicious and filling. I will definitely be coming back! šš»

My wife and I came here for the first time today and was blown away by how friendly the owner was. The food came out quickly and HOT! The food was very tasty! Very well cooked and hard to stop eating. On the TV was a movie āClaudineā which was so interesting, better than showing news or sports in my opinion. I would recommend this place to anyone!
PS: Donāt steal the syrup bottle, that aināt cool.
