Maria's Italian Restaurant & Pizza

We came to Maria's on September 21, 2024. It was homecoming night in town and many eateries were full. So glad we happened upon this restaurant. The food and service is amazing! We both got Alfredo dishes with home made Italian bread and nice salads! The portions are huge! Lotsa bang for your buck! We won't hesitate to stop here again when passing through!

We love coming to Maria’s Italian Restaurant! Their homemade sub buns make their subs one of a kind. I also enjoy getting the steak Salads. It’s always great service, friendly waitresses and great Food.

I do not recommend making a reservation for 10 people as this wait staff cannot handle it.. We were there on Wednesday February 14th. Due to this being Valentine’s Day we wanted to call and make sure they could accommodate 10 people at 6:00. They were very nice and said absolutely see you at 6:00 with 10 people, reservation made. We arrive approximately 5:50 and our table was ready however, it was only set up for 9.. no biggie pull a chair over. We were attempting to order at 6:10 when our waitress took 6 out of the 10 peoples order and looked at the rest of us and said I have to run out food I’ll be back for your order. (If we had shown up without a reservation.. completely would get it.. but we made one so they could better prepare for a large table). We did not see our waitress come back to the table to see if we needed anything until she started bringing out the fried sides like French fries, deep fried mushrooms etc.. 2 at our table had ordered dinner that should have came with side salads.. they did not show up until after all of the deep friend food.. meanwhile 3 other tables that came in after we ordered… had already gotten their food. It was an hour and 15 mins before the small fried food even started to come out.. and at this point.. there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant besides us. When the waitress brought out a ham sub that no one at our table ordered.. she proceeded to yell at orderer #2 and say that is what you ordered because that’s what I have written down and continued to put it Infront of her… most waitresses would have apologized and asked if they can get something different. She did not but insisted what she wrote down was correct. Several minutes later the rest of the food comes out.. and she happened to have 1 extra sub that matched what orderer #2 had asked for.. funny.. The final sub that was supposed to be placed infront of the last one was an Italian special with lettuce and tomato Italian dressing. The waitress sat down an Italian with onions lettuce and tomato… no dressing. We advised that was not what was ordered the waitress again said that’s what I have down.. and proceeded to walk away. When she came back we had asked for the correct sub to go since everyone else at the table was done eating by this time because it was already 7:30… we finally got the sub and left about 8:00.. we also had a 3 year old with us who happened to spill a little of his drink .. only on the table though not a huge mess but we had to ask the waitress for napkins to clean it up 3 different times. I understand 10 people is a lot and it was Valentine’s Day.. point of my post.. I think the waitress was absolutely rude.. who argues with the customers on what they ordered and then turns around and brings the correct order out and never apologizes… we called ahead to make the reservation to prevent this from happening.. Also the 2 Incorrect subs that were on our table that we touched to see what was in it.. ex Italian vs Italian special. We’re taken back to the kitchen.. I hope they were not given back out to another table.. Just a tip To the blonde waitress we had last night.. my entire family works in that field of business.. we would have been ATLEAST an $80 tip table had you not argued.. if it was a mistake.. no problem.. smile and say I’m so sorry how can we fix this.. that will definitely help your tips on the future….

fantastic food had a steak and cheese sub that was fantastic the bread was to talk about and tomorrow will order a pizza customer service was exceptional!
