Meli was disappointing. The ambience and service were great but after trying nearly every appetizer on the menu and several entrees between myself and a party of five, the food was subpar. If you’ve had authentic Mediterranean food then do yourself a favor and skip this overly pricey place and try Anatolian in Bethlehem or one of the many Mediterranean places in Allentown and see the difference for yourself. Presentation and photos are great but taste, not so much. The only dishes that were ok are the tuna tartar appetizer, and I’ve had better, as well as the baklava cheesecake dessert. Fantastic! We were there on a tuesday and it was busy. The staff is very attentive even when they had a large party to attend to. The Halibut was exquisite! The pairing of a bit of cinnamon with the onions and black eyed beans I would never consider! My husband had the sea bass that was rustic in its seasoning and it was the whole fish! Head and all! The dessert was Bougatsa and it was wonderful! A lovely experience and will be back again with family and friends

What an exceptional meal. The service, the food quality and timing once seated all are without question the best. We got the giant prawn appetizer special and it was cooked perfect, and extremely tasty. The deconstructed pastitsio and lamb shank were , not only plenty in size of portion, but done to perfection. Highly recommend
The food was amazing. Service was even better. Danielle was helpful and so much fun. Picture of the baklava cheesecake that was perfection. So good itvwas half gone before the pic. The half chicken entree was flavorful and perfect.

Our group shared the grilled octopus, YiaYia Dena's keftedes, the kalamaki and the brussels sprouts. My dining option was the deconstructed pastitsio. Dessert was the bougatsa. All divine in their own way delivering fresh flavors. Service was impeccable. Don't recall our waiter's name, though he indicated he was also a sommelier. Can't wait to go back!

My husband ordered the gyro plate and got a plateful of dried lamb. Instead of taking the plate away they brought him a plate of fresh lamb! Everything was cold by then. We will not be back. It was handled so poorly.
