Restaurant was comfortable and staff friendly. The guacamole was very good. Shrimp tacos had good flavor but brisket tacos were just ok. Drinks were light-handed. Overall we enjoyed the ambiance and vitality. We would go again.

Great tacos! Old fashion was just right. They were kind enough to move us from the first spot which was wedged in between two large groups. Awkward for a couple. The high top they moved us to by the bar was perfect. Outstanding and fresh salsa. Nice evening out before a show at the State Theater.

Ordering took forever, and the staff forgot several items and even brought out the wrong order. To make things worse, they charged us for the meal they took back to the kitchen, and it took about 45 minutes just to get the refund. The waitress also tripped over my chair, then rolled her eyes at me as if it were my fault. Overall, a very frustrating experience. I really dislike coming here.

If you eat at the bar be very careful when paying with cash. DO NOT PUT THE CASH IN THE CUP. Count the money out lay flat on the bar. Dishonesty is a horrible feeling...I guess they needed it more then me.
I try to only write good reviews, However in this case unfortunately I must write about our experience. We haven't been to Mesa in years. It was a lovely Sunday afternoon and there was music so we were asked to be seated outside. Our appetizer came before our drinks. My husband and I thought that chips and salsa were complementary but they never arrived so we asked our waitress if we could have some chips and salsa. She said of course but they never came. When our food arrived My husband did not receive what he had ordered, But given the lack of attention by our waitress he just decided to eat that instead. She never came to our table again. When another patron outside was complaining of lack of service to order food the waitress turned away to go inside and I stepped up and approached her to order another round of drinks. After 15 minutes and no drinks I went to the bar where the bartender told me the waitress took them to the table. I assured her she did not but she seemed to think she had. A few minutes later our drinks arrived we let her know that the wrong food came out and she took what he had ordered off the bill and charge for what was given. It's too bad the service is so poor because the food is very good. However we won't be back unfortunately.

Horrible service. Literally wasted an hour of my time. Sat down, ordered TACOS and a coke. Forty minutes passed while people who had arrived wayyy after me got served their drinks, chips and salsa oh and their food. Never had an experience like this before. Horrible. Maybe they can learn from Amigos up front.
