MENU SAYS GLUTEN FREE BUT IT'S NOT!!Took the wife there for the first time for dinner last night. We chose to give Mesa a try because I have Celiacs disease and half of their menu is marked with gluten free options. When we sat, the waiter dropped chips & salsa in front of us, and the chips were clearly deep-fried. I asked him and he said something along the lines of "yeah, it says Gluten Free on the menu but most of it isn't. We basically deep fry everything, all in the same fryer." So that pretty much eliminated everything on the menu, except for tacos, which had corn tortillas (GF). So that's what I ordered, and then was given 3 mini street tacos that are basically an appetizer. My wife got a chicken quesadilla and it was soggy from likely sitting in grease too long. We paid our bill, left and got an actual dinner somewhere else. So if you have a severe Gluten allergy, DON'T GO HERE! The kicker is... on the way out, my wife said something to the manager/owner and she told us that the server should've said we can make anything on the menu truly GF for me. Like I'm going to trust that after what he told us originally. Drinks were actually good, but the food is average. Won't be going back.

My husband and I took our fur baby for a walk on Sunday in downtown Easton. We stopped for a drink and a snack at Mesa Modern Mexican (not our first time cause everything is sooo yummy). We sat outside (SO EXCITED FOR OUTDOOR DINING!!) the staff were awesome, the service top notch and they will even serve your fur baby with a fresh cool bowl of water. If you like Mexican food and want a great dining experience Mesa Modern Mexican is the place to go

Fantastic food and service here!! Quick dinner no waiting on a Sunday evening. They serve warm chips and fresh made salsa. Drinks are fabulous we had guava margaritas frozen is better and lime on the rocks is good too. If you can handle spice a must try is the inferno guacamole - ahh amazing!! A must try if you like the heat. (It’s medium hot). The crispy cod fish tacos are very good - fresh and nice warm tortillas. I recommend to top them with mango salsa which added that extra flavor! We also ordered burrito bowl and spicy chicken bowl - not a big fan of was a lot of white rice that all went to waste. Flavors didn’t come out in both of two these bowls, mostly white rice and beans topped with chicken breast (breaded like tenderloins) not great. Overall service was excellent and all appetizers, drinks are great.

Food was mediocre at best. Nothing tasted fresh. Everything seemed like they open a can or a jar. Much better places to go. Our server Liz was great. Drinks were terrible.

Worst food ever! The wait was forever and server was horrible. Never coming back. Recommendation to chef: Learn from a master Mexican chef because you are an amateur.

I recommend the spicy guacamole, falafel tacos, and their classic marg. I see some poor reviews on here but my experiences have always been pleasurable. To the people on here complaining about sour mix tasting drinks - simply order your beverage without it. Problem solved. Less sugar and better tasting that way too. I frequent Mesa often and have yet to be disappointed. :)

Great value, great service, great crispy cod tacos! The music was a touch too loud but I always think music in restaurants is.

We had the best server tonight and Olivia made sure everything was perfect. I like my food spicy and she brought us a spicy seasoning that added that extra to my jalapeño magarita, guacamole and salsa. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the meals. Thank you Olivia!! 3/1/2024.

Hubby ordered fish tacos, while they were very good, he didn't expect tempora battered fish. Dressing and slaw on tacos were very tasty. I had chicken enchiladas with green sauce, they were excellent! We each had a drink, classic mule and Caribbean Vibes mojito, both were very good. Prices were pretty good! We definitely would go back!

I waited over 30 minutes for my appetizer so I decided to leave. Manager really could care less if you are satisfied or not. If a party of 18 sets you back so much, I would hate to want to eat here on a busy evening. The restaurant was practically empty. I left a tip for my server because it wasn't his fault, although he would have been receiving a rather generous amount had I actually had a meal. As a server for over 40 years I can say the response I received from the manager has determined that I will not be going back. I'll try other recommendations for Mexican food.

Absolutely dreadful! The service was abysmal, and the food was a disaster from start to finish. We got there on time, ordered an appetizer that arrived promptly, but then everything went south. After placing our main course orders, the server returned 15 minutes later to inform us they were out of all vegan options, essentially stripping away our choices. It took an eternity for the food to arrive, with little to no server presence; we even had to get up to request water. When the dishes finally made it to our table after 45 agonizing minutes, most of the food was brought out, but we hesitated to dig in, waiting for the remaining dishes for another 24 minutes. Once we started eating, it was a disappointment all around. My "enchiladas" were inedible from the first bite, and the same sentiment was shared by everyone at the table. The server never bothered to check on us throughout the meal, nor did they inquire about the barely touched food when presenting the check. If not for the engaging conversation, the disastrous food experience would have completely ruined the birthday celebration. Never again..I have no idea how this restaurant group survives.all their restaurants have horrendous service .tapas, Urbana, mesa, etc.

Came here for our anniversary since we were in the mood for Mexican food We were waiting at our table and didn't receive chips and salsa till we asked for some. We were sitting there for about 20 min with just water. My drink order was wrong twice but only asked for it to be corrected 1x since It took forever to arrive the first time around Ordered a soup that was supposed to come out as an appetizer Food ended up coming out all together. Food was pretty good though and would consider coming back because of it

We visited this place today after spending all morning and early afternoon down the street at the Crayola experience. We were all so hungry. We were seated right away and had drinks quickly, so things seemed good. But then it took a good 20 minutes before our server returned just with chips and salsa. We ordered nachos, fajitas, a burrito, a Caesar salad, and a side of fries. It took forever to get everything and nothing was brought together. Our server hardly checked on us or refilled drinks. I checked my phone because when we had first gotten there my husband sent me pictures from our day. He sent them at 1:20 and we didn’t get out of there until shortly after 3. Everyone around us was frustrated, too. The table next to us got their apps but canceled their entrees because they couldn't wait any longer since they had somewhere to be.For the wait, the food was just okay. Not bad but nothing special. I couldn't understand what took so long because we ordered pretty standard meals. the salad and nachos took forever to come out, and the nachos didn't even have meat on them.I was very frustrated to spend $80+ tip and get horrible service. No one even apologized for the wait at any point.

Food was bland. The mango shrimp "ceviche" was too sweet, no lime or cilantro. The spicy chicken bowl was bland. I was excited to try
