First of all, they didn't have even half of the menu available. What they did have was not good, the old rice with pigeon peas and to make matters worse, I found a piece of metal from the metal sponge for scrubbing.
He didn't care at all, I didn't eat the rice. No one was there to take responsibility, very bad experience. I think they are going to close it.

I brought my mom for her birthday and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Party of 4. Took over an hour to get our food. I had mold in my cup. Steak was burnt. They did not even apologize. Customer service is bad. Beautiful decor. I only wished the food and service was as good as the decor. Not to mention over priced for the thinnest tostones I ever seen.

It was our first time in Easton! My wife and I were in the area celebrating her birthday and didn’t know where to eat. We saw this was Puerto Rican Restaurant and second guess eating here because we’re use to eating Puerto Rican food, one because we’re Puerto Rican, and two, we wanted to eat something other than Puerto Rican food! But, needless to say, the experience did not disappoint! The accapurria with crab was amazing! And, the tostones were thin and crispy and delicious! The beans were succulent and mouth watering! I wished we lived closer to come back, again sooner! Thank you for the experience! I hope to see you all, again!

I do not recommend him at all, visit him more than once and they cheat and steal your money from the account, they charge you twice the tip and the final bill they add additional taxes to what they consume and when you realize the theft the owner supports that they steal from the client, they charge you an additional fee if you bring cake to celebrate an activity and since they do not have permission to sell alcoholic beverages, they charge you an additional fee for bringing your own drink and when you complain about that they tell you that it is in their menu policy IN SMALL LETTERS TO DECEIVE THE CUSTOMER THE PESOMO SERVICE EVERY MONTH THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT WAITER TO SERVE 20 MEZAS AT A TIME I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY TO BE STOLEN, DON'T GO!

This restaurant is never open. “Open” sign is lit up in the window, but door is always locked. No sign of any life at this restaurant. Don’t waste your time. A sign on the door explaining why you’re not open would be nice.

We decided to have dinner here because of the positive reviews about their food and service. When we arrived, there were fewer than 10 people in the restaurant.

We waited over an hour just for our Palcha beverage. We asked for water, but it never came. After more than 60 minutes, only one Alcapurria was served out of the three appetizers we had ordered. Throughout our wait, the waitress never checked on us or informed us about any delays with our order. After waiting for two hours, we decided to leave and paid $27.00 for our two sodas, jugo de Palcha, and the single Alcapurria. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience the good things we had heard about.

We stopped by the restaurant today and it was closed, a shame because we called and they said we didn't need a reservation. Fix the schedule here so people don't waste their time.

During a recent dining experience with a party of four, we encountered an exceptionally prolonged wait time of over an hour without receiving our ordered meals.

This delay transpired unaccompanied by any explanations or provision of water, reflecting a lack of attentiveness toward customer service. Our order encompassed three appetizers, two servings of steak and onions, and two servings of chicken and tostones.

The absence of attentiveness and failure to fulfill the order prompts concern for the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. We will never eat here again.

This restaurant only had 12 people in total as customers.

The first time I came to Raíces (Easton) with my wife (about March 2024), we had a very good experience. The food didn’t take long and it was hot. Today (6/16/24) we made a reservation, got there about 10 minutes prior and were seated immediately. The place looked like empty. There 3 couples on different tables when we got seated. A few minutes later, the waitress brought the garlic toasted bread and we place the food order as soon as she took the order for the drinks. Approximately 45 minutes later, my kids received their room temperature grilled chicken with rice and beans. And about 15 minutes after that, my wife and I got our food. Nothing fancy, just pernil and beef stew. We asked for refills when my kids got their food because our waitress never stopped by our table to check on us while we waited all that time. The refills even took about 15 minutes.
Very disappointed. I didn’t expect having to wait so long for rice, beans, pernil and beef stew. Something that is usually ready to serve and most Hispanic restaurants. I might go to eat there again because the food is good. Hopefully I don’t have to wait that long. The first time I went, I ordered mofongo with garlic shrimp and it was really good.
