I am from Allentown but now live in California. I was there when Rita's first opened on Union Blvd. I just visited Allentown, and of course, I had to have the delicious Gelato. I went to the one on Tilghman and 19th Street, and I have to say the custard tastes the same, but the mango lacked taste.

Went in last night ordered 3 regular gelatis 2 with extra custard was told it would be an “additional charge “ no issue. Until the worker forgot to disclose that it would be an additional charge for the top and bottom and I proceed to pay $9 per gelati. When I asked for a receipt and addressed the 4 additional charges Emily proceeded to say that they do charge for top and bottom when asked why didn’t she make that specific when I was ordering she said “ because you sounded like you’ve ordered it before “ when asked why did she assume she said she didn’t assume. Which is a lie I didnt sound like I’ve ordered it before because even when ordering I was debating what would be a better choice for me. Do better Rita’s !

Well I can't expect much, its operated by teenagers. I got charged twice for ices and my order was completely wrong. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great convenient location. Flavors were great unlike some other Rita's where it's watered down.

Always a wonderful experience. This is the best Rita's in the Lehigh Valley. I have had 2 kids work here now because it is such a great place.

What a fun menu and all of the items are delicious. The pup cup was greatly enjoyed by our loved Giant Schnauzer. What is greatly appreciated is that the vanilla custard is absolutely delicious and not too sweet

Great place to stop to get something to cool with. Relatively cheap. Parking can be a pain depending on when you get there because it gets packed.

Delicious, but when did a large ice cream cone become what used to be a small or regular. Also, I used to think it was inexperience as to why the cone would be empty by the time you got to it, but the EE told me they intentionally leave the cone empty. Seems a bit deceptive and petty ?

$5 at Rita’s doesn’t get us what it used to, just like $5 doesn’t anywhere but gargantuan wholesale retailer food courts. For this reason, I almost never go to Rita’s, and when I do, I opt for the gelato.

There’s something about finishing the ice cream on top then starting with the ice and then back to the ice cream that just does it for me. I used to get vanilla with the blue raspberry ice all the time when I was a kid.

Now they have sour patch kid flavor! They were out of the new watermelon one so I just got the red one instead. The actual quality of Rita’s doesn’t disappoint, but at the end of the day, it’s not YoFresh or Menchie’s and it’s not Coldstone. It’s just Rita’s.

Parking: Parking isn’t hard to find but there isn’t a lot of it.

It's Rita's so the ice and custard is great as always. Parking is limited so it gets congested when busy and seating is just a few tables in a corner on the side of the building.
