The staff was very friendly both times I visited. Portions were generous. My favorite was the 5 layer gelato. Frozen custard and shaved ice how can you go wrong with that. While this is a walk up window there is seating behind the store if you want to sit and enjoy your treat.

Ritas is an all time favorite and this spot always has a large selection of flavors. Other Ritas often only have 6 or 7 flavors

So much choices to choose from. The slushes and custard were really good.
I called and ordered 2-one gallon servings of ice. I arrived and was asked for over 60 dollars. When I pointed out the sign that ordered 3 quarts for 16 dollars, I was denied the price. The owner jess got involved and was confused as to the reason I would rather have the special. I am so disappointed by the service I received. I loved ritas.

Friendly staff and good variety
I am from Allentown but now live in California. I was there when Rita's first opened on Union Blvd. I just visited Allentown, and of course, I had to have the delicious Gelato. I went to the one on Tilghman and 19th Street, and I have to say the custard tastes the same, but the mango lacked taste.
