We took my parents for their 42nd anniversary and everything was perfect! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic and ingredients are very thoughtfully paired together. Our server, Josh, was very attentive, knowledgeable on the dishes and respectful of my mom's dietary needs. We also really appreciate the valet service.

Walked into Thyme and the hostess was uninviting and unappealing. We got water and ordered drinks and appetizers immediately. The drinks were strong as they should be for 16 dollars a drink, the appetizer, which I’ve had at Zest- mango spring rolls, were dry but saved by the delicious sauce to drench them in. We put in our orders and waited- short rib which the waitress called a fan favorite, and the pasta special of the day. As we waited we sat in a weird ambiance with elevator music in the background, the manager was walking around texting, which I’d expect at an Applebees, but not at the price point or reputation of Thyme. Our waitress was running around like a chicken with her head cut off- not her fault she seemed possibly overworked or overwhelmed, the only time we really saw her was for water. When our food arrived the rib was dry as the Sahara but you wouldn’t guess it by looking at it, since it’s smothered in sauce that resembles sweet baby rays, which isn’t shocking since it took over 50 minutes for it to come out. The sides that come with the short rib heavily outweighed the short rib in itself, which is disappointing. The pasta of the day, was delicious, I will give them that. When we were done it took a bit for someone to box the pasta (tossed the short rib no need for a box), bring us the check and then bring us change for the cash we gave. Overall I would say Thyme is overhyped and overpriced for boomers or Gen Z college students spending there parents money. There are better, less expensive, more tasteful and restaurants in walking distance on the same road a few blocks up, and if you wanted to spend money I could think of one on Ferry Street that is newer and way better food, service and vibe. Overall would not go back and would not recommend ever to anyone.

This place was excellent in every way. The sad part funny enough, we have heard so many great things about Thyme, we went there with high expectations- and they were all met LOL! Food, excellent as anybody else would tell you, service - awesome: thank you Miranda :) you were also great, atmosphere - really nice place - great view (ask for a window if available!). And despite what some people might say - for the quality of food (pork belly appy - yum! Brussel sprouts appy - yum! Cauliflower soup - yum! Duck and Pork chop - both double yum! Tiramisu - very yum!), the price was also great. All in all, I give Thyme my Highest foodie recommendation, and hope to be back when the weather is warmer and the rooftop deck is open.

We went without knowing much about the restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. Nice river view and great food
This place is absolutely amazing. Service is phenomenal. Food is crazy good. Drinks are delicious. Super cool location and view. Can't wait to go back.
Food was outstanding. Cheers to the Chef / Saucier. Service was very good / attentive. Courses were served in a timely manner. Dining area was nicely spread out and they don't cram tables - guests back-to-back. Place could use some sound dampening since it was quite loud for the number of people. Compared to other upscale places in the area the prices were very reasonable.
The dining experience exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
Food was delicious and lovely view but it took over 45 minutes for our food to be served. Quite a long wait to eat.
Our first time at this restaurant as visitors from out of state. We come to this area frequently and this is now our number one favorite restaurant. The food was fabulous and the ambience perfect. The menu is diverse and just extensive enough to find something you really like. Can't wait to come back!

The view was amazing. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and professional.
**Restaurant Review: Thyme Brunch** I knew I wouldn't be disappointed at **Thyme Brunch**, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. My best friend was visiting from Arizona, and since he'd never experienced this gem before, I couldn't wait to share it with him. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and attentiveness set the tone for a perfect meal. Their friendly recommendations made our celebration of friendship even more memorable. We took their advice and ordered the **Shrimp & Grits** and the **Pork Belly Hash**—both were phenomenal. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the grits had an incredible zing that left me wishing I knew the secret ingredient. The pork belly in the hash was generous and rich, and we even added an extra egg so we could each have one—definitely worth it! And then there's the **view**. We were lucky enough to get a corner window seat overlooking the fall foliage and the dramatic incoming storm clouds—it was absolutely breathtaking. Between the food, the view, and the impeccable service, it was an unforgettable dining experience. I regularly drive 30–45 minutes to eat here, and it's always worth every mile. I've never been disappointed. Even my niece still talks about the **burrata**, saying it was the best she's ever had—and that was four years ago! Thyme continues to be one of my favorite spots—consistently excellent, beautifully presented, and always made with care. *Chef's kiss!*
Everything was perfect. The Food is priced perfect for the high quality and quantity that is served. Service was also on point. Will recommend to everyone I know.
lovely views (nice sunsets), great food and service. outside dining is really nice (weather permitting) though they do have heaters when it's getting chilly.
