I sat down with 6 friends at 5:45pm after a day of tubing. We ordered 5 poke bowls and 2 rolls and after waiting around 10 mins the owner came over to tell us he couldn’t make our bowls because he didn’t have enough sushi rice for us and for other potential customers that may come in later. We asked if we could do brown rice instead and he said we’d have to wait an hour and five mins for brown rice. We ended walking out which is disappointing considering the place was basically empty aside from us.

I can’t stress enough how much I love Tokyo Sushi. The man who owns the restaurant makes everything himself, and he is so kind and generous. I have an allergy and often have to remove avocado from my order. When I do this, instead of just leaving it alone he will give me extra shrimp or something else to compensate for the missing ingredient. He also will throw in some free mochi if I wait too long. I’ve never had any other restaurant do that for me, this place is truly special and the quality of the food speaks for itself.
Dietary restrictions: This restaurant honors my restrictions and includes more ingredients to make up for removing items. There are gluten and dairy free options.
