We heard great things about the food so we decided to try it for the first time. Our reservation was a party of 7 and a 3y/o for 5:30 PM. We got our drinks right away, but my 3y/o got the same cup as adults. We then placed our orders. Our food seemed to take a while being that it wasn't very busy. I ordered an appetizer to keep my daughter occupied, and we had to ask for those and our side salads. The cheese sticks were the same as what I can get at Walmart. The side salad was so small I could hold the bowl in my palm. The food started coming out, but it didn't come out all at once. Some of us had been eating while the others were still waiting for their food. My 3y/o received adult-size, chicken tenders, and fries. I got a fish dinner which was only 3 tiny pieces of fish, 1 side, and a side salad for $15.99. My fish was dry and looked like it was out of the freezer. My haluski tasted too much like pepper and was mushy. My pierogies were good. For myself and a 3y/o WITH tip, my bill came to $80 which I understand there's inflation, but then reviewing my bill, I was charged for 2 to-go containers and a small pizza with 2 toppings cost me over $11 which I was not able to eat because the sauce was spicy. Actually, the sauce made my lips burn. The server herself was very nice, but the service was very poor. There were tables seated, well after we were and were gone before we were. We had to stop our server and ask for refills and our checks because we weren't checked on, even then, we still waited. It was definitely not a good experience, and I am very understanding because I've been in this industry for 26 years. We more than likely will not return!
I have been to the Lemon Drop Gold Course a few times previously. Never anything spectacular. Today, I was very disappointed and honestly offended by the golf staff. I came to play 9 holes just to enjoy a nice day. When we walked into the golf shop, the person working immediately commented on what I was wearing (an athletic golf dress). He asked if I had a different top, because the golf dress I was wearing is sleeveless and does not have a collar. In my 6 years of playing golf, I have never had this be a problem. This is coming from the golf course that has let people golf in jeans and t-shirts. There was nothing inappropriate or revealing about my outfit, especially considering this is a golf dress. There was not a single other person there playing OR in the lounge eating. I have gone to real country clubs in non-golf attire and had still been allowed to play without issue. This is not a great course to begin with, but it's cheap (hence why I was going to play there) and I don't believe they are in any spot to be turning down business. I'm extremely disappointed in this experience and there is no reason for a male worker to tell me, a female, about women's golf clothing. Brands like Nike make golf tank tops that do not have collars as well. And the fact that I had to dig on Facebook to find anything that said about a "dress code" is not good advertising either, especially considering I do not have or use a Facebook account in the first place.

Terrible experience on mothers day. 115 reservation drinks at 2 food 230. Table beside us got drinks and salads within 10 mins. Owner made me feel like it was our fault they were busy. Gratuity added to bill so no choice on gratuity. She made it difficult to pay cash for gratuity. 1 star review. Food was good but owner and service terrible. Won't be back.

As always, great food and excellent service! We had an amazing Mother's Day dinner today, and even though they were busy, the service was outstanding!! We sincerely appreciate the time and effort the Lemondrop staff puts into making holidays, as well as every other day, special for their patrons. They sacrifice time with their families to make our days special. Thanks to you all!!
