Would’ve loved to try it, but it was closed and everywhere it said it was open

My mushroom burger was very good, and the fries were exceptional, crisp on the outside and seasoned just right. Seating is outdoors, mostly on picnic tables and benches under a canopy.

This place is never open, stopped by on multiple occasions after double checking the website just to find them closed. Update your website better or just stay closed forever. For a Red Caboose knock off you'd think they'd be open more often.

Came to check it out as my family had said great things. Pulled in. Signs were on, windows open. We took a minute to look at the screens and no one showed up. Gave a little "hello" through the open window... Nothing. Checked the bathrooms and pavilion.... Nothing. Tried calling to place an order... "Not available". Guess you didn't want our business this time.

My wife couldnt understand the person taking the orders. She tried to order a mushroom bacon pepperjack burger, onion rings, little kid hot dog meal, chicken sandwhich and fries. What we got was half a burger patty with bacon and grilled onions. The hot dog was great size for my daughter and wife liked the chicken sandwhich. But the fries were mush coated with burnt dirty oil and like i mentioned before got half a burger patty. Not worth the wait or the price tag.

Very friendly staff. The hot dogs were good! The onions were.fresh and crisp and sour kraut was grilled! I did not care for the French fries! We call them "fake fries"! They are not like fresh-cut, they were like mashed potatoes reformed to look like a French fry!Kid-friendliness: They have a "train" type play area. Really cute!

Great little place to stop while in Elizabeth. They have great burgers and everything else I've gotten there has been very good.

Elizabeth Express has, in my opinion, one of the BEST burgers in the area, and the fries are excellent too. And the owners are friendly and welcoming, but I gave them 3 stars because they are never open past 6pm. I would stop here 2-3 times each week if I could (driving home from work) get to their location before 6pm. And, I understand not being open on Sundays, but I'm writing this review on Sunday wishing I could place an order.
