Worked here for about 2 months… extremely unclean. Nothing in kitchen gets deep cleaned, hands aren’t washed before making salads etc.
Nice to visit a genuine, unique restaurant that is not a chain. Food is always excellent.
This restaurant is terrific! Friendly welcoming staff, interesting atmosphere and delicious food.
I recommend the lump crab appetizer and French onion soup. It’s always fun to go to a family owned establishment that has lasted for decades. Well done!
It was a perfect setting with our family of 14 after my Father’s interment. The staff was great with communication with both phone & email before hand and the service and the food was spot on. Very nostalgic, old school just like my Dad. ❤️
First time visiting & probably last time. Our server was super friendly and nice. However the food was extremely disappointing.
I just had the fish sandwich Lent special with haluski and coleslaw. Everything tasted AMAZING, one of the best fish sandwiches I have ever had and the haluski was seasoned perfectly. The homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw were also plenty flavorful, I will definitely be getting this again and again!
Good food 👍. Great wedding soup and coconut cream pie was excellent 😋. Toast on My sandwich was very dry that's My only negative. Service was friendly and helpful.
I can't say enough about this restaurant. Truly great dining experiences seem to be getting much rarer these days but at Rockwell's Red Lion, all the marks hit a 10+ rating! The food, the service, the atmosphere... phenomenal! I highly recommend the pepperjack crab soup... so yummy, I couldn't stop eating it!
Fantastic food and service. Reasonable prices and ample on street parking.
This is a historical site and a charming restaurant with great food options and friendly staff. Highly recommend you stop in for their generous fall Turkey Dinner special and good cocktails.

First time in this restaurant. Didn't know you needed to make reservations but the hostess was very accommodating. Excellent experience!

I wasn’t impressed. It doesn’t look like a fine dining experience from neither the outside of the building nor on the inside. The staff wasn’t really welcoming and I found that a bit awkward and wanted to leave upon sitting down.
The food I ordered wasn’t anything to shake a stick at. I ordered the burger medium rare and it came out well done. I don’t think I even finished my food, I just wanted to leave.
I had much better food down the street, you can get a discount at the Italian place next to fire whistle if you tell them you’re going to fire whistle to wait.

After a very long day in the car, my wife and I stopped for dinner around 7:30. We both ordered the Seafood alfredo rigatoni. The very first scallop I put in my mouth tasted like ammonia. I did not complain because I was tired and not in a good mood. The date of our visit was 10/19/24.

Excellent!
I've eaten here a couple of times now for lunch. Regardless of which staff member I was assigned to, they have all been courteous, professional, and friendly. This is a little more upscale than your typical lunch spot, and that's kind of why I like it.
Pictured was a special they were having the other day. Potatoes, meat loaf, covered in a gravy. Onion slivers accompanied the gravy to bring it all together. You can't see the meatloaf due to gravy, but it was in there, and it was delicious!
If you're in the area, definitely try this place out. You're going to spend a little more coin, but the quality of food is there for the price. Oh and they are closed on Mondays, just an FYI
