If you order gravy fries and ask for the gravy on the side they charge you for the gravy fries (more than just fries) and then charge you an extra $1 just to put it on the side instead and don’t even tell you. The fries are freezer crap, and then it’s a super tiny cup of bland gravy. And the cheese they use tastes like cheese scented play doh slime

Located off 51 in an area that has little dining options, The Red Caboose is a decent srop for food if you're hungry and eat meat.
The menu is small, but it doesn't need much else on it imo. The small menu means quick turnaround times - we went at the height of a busy Friday lunch rush and barely waited 3 minutes for our food.

Very inexpensive food. Very clean place I loved the kielbasa hotdog.I absolutely come back.
They’ve changed the type of fries. They used to have the really thin shoestring fries and now they have these bigger fatter ones. They should’ve stuck with the smaller shoestring fries. Not as good. Then they keep changing the menu. They used to have burgers and now they’ve gotten rid of them again. Over the years they would have the burgers on the menu then they would take them off. Then they would bring them back for a short time then get rid of them again. They need to stop salting the fries and let the customer decide weather or not to salt them themselves. They have salt shakers on the tables next to the condiments. Let the customer decide if they want salt on them. Their food is just not as good as it used to be. $4.00 for an order of fries now.

We love going here with the kids. Who doesn't love a grilled hot dog on a steamed bun? Fast and efficient the staff works hard and with smiles on their faces. Don't forget the crispy fries smothered in a rich brown gravy! My mouth is water just thinking about it... Bang for the buck, good food... Lots of parking!
