I came here for my birthday dinner and currently I am dairy free because I am nursing and my baby can’t have dairy. The waitress was very friendly and understanding that I couldn’t have dairy. She double checked all the dishes and ingredients with the kitchen to ensure there wasn’t dairy in the items I was ordering. I was sad there weren’t many dairy free options, but the salad I got was still really good. My husband said his calzone was the best he’s ever had. Can’t wait to go back when I can have dairy again.

We were very disappointed. 1st of all the lettuce they served was disgusting. We honestly could not eat it. I ordered seafood Alfredo. I’m not kidding they were small scallops and only 2 shrimp in the meal. Glad we were just traveling thru.

The meals were good. The masala was a little too strong and sweet. Salt did not help. My daughter ate some and doctored it up once we got home. The portion was 3 large pieces of chicken. I had the stuffed Eggplant which was a tad bland but good. The portion was small compared to my daughters chicken. Both meals came with a large portion of spaghetti with sauce.
The best grilled chicken salad I've ever eaten! Very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Staff was beyond polite and friendly.

So disappointed. We used to love the food at their location in Slippery Rock and drove to Ellwood to reminisce. My food was bad. Cheap meatballs, the gnocchi was grey! and so doughy. The bread was dry. The dipping oil not good. Sadly, I will not go back

Nico's is my favorite place to have dinner in my hometown. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. The food is always hot and delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed egg plant and chicken marsala, but honestly, everything is good. Portions are generous. I often have lunch for the next day. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Vegetarian options: My boyfriend is vegetarian and enjoys the pizza and stuffed eggplant.
If you like your pasta or calzones topped with rat urine and feces, this is the place to go!!! Outlandish problem with rodents and poor hygiene maintained in this establishment.. Go somewhere in New Castle for Italian food to prevent catching a disease
