Our server made excellent recommendations and made sure we always had fresh cutlery, sharing plates, and a full glasses of water. As someone who served in high end restaurants, I appreciate the details. Our food took a minute to come out, so our server brought us a glass of amaro to make up for the delay (which we were too caught up talking to even notice). The food was delicious and fresh. To top it all off the ambiance was amazing! I'm truly sad I'm only visiting and can't come back again anytime soon.“

Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“I cannot stress enough how amazing your restaurant and staff are. We’ve been patrons for years and have never experienced any issues. Our most recent two visits with our 3 young grandchildren were effortless! We love the food and staff so much. I will mention Vince as he waited on us both times and is so attentive as ALL the staff we have had. We love the mother/daughter staff, but I regret that I don’t know their names. My personal favorite is the custom calzone. I asked for thin dough and both meat and marinara sauce on the side. I was delighted that it was all perfect and I took half home! “We decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary at Eddie V's. We had dined there before and enjoyed the experience. When we got to our table, it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and had an anniversary card for us. This was such an unexpected, special touch. We started our meal with the wedge/bacon salad and decided to share it. It was garnished with well-done bacon strips and the dressing was freshly made. We both had seafood choices for our entrees - the jumbo shrimp stuffed with seafood and scallops with polenta. The seafood was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. We had the Russian River chardonnay to accompany the entrees. The surprise was the dessert complimentary by the restaurant. It was bananas Foster, 2 chocolate cookies, and a dollop of ice cream. Our server, Leidi (spelling?) was great. She lit the bananas Foster and truly made the dinner have a dramatic and very tasty ending. The restaurant manager, Christine, came over to chat with us and ask us about our dinner. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the seating is not crowded. Valet parking on Oliver Street is convenient. You can go from car to restaurant and not have to carry a coat. We will return and so glad we celebrated our anniversary at Eddie V's!“

Our steaks were perfectly cooked, the scallops and risotto were rich and flavorful, and the roasted bone marrow was unforgettable. Cocktails were beautifully made—especially the old fashioned and the ice-cold martini. And the Pumpkin Latte dessert deserves special mention: creamy, cozy, and perfectly spiced. Easily one of the best seasonal desserts we've had anywhere. Napa Chophouse is an absolute gem. We'll be back.“

“Not only are these some of the best subs we have ever had, but this place has one of the coolest atmospheres we have ever experienced. We just moved to Pittsburgh and were looking for our go-to sub place and Peppi’s was recommended multiple times. Walking in and you’re instantly met with real hard-working Pittsburgh people and a culturally rich atmosphere that highlights local celebrities, area history, and all around Pittsburgh pride. All this on top of an incredible sandwich and fries every-time and we have our spot for many years to come. “My husband and I came for our somewhat late 9:45p reservation, after a holiday Pgh Symphony concert on Friday, November 28. We've been to Capital Grill many times. I didn't tell our server, until he brought our drinks, that it was our wedding anniversary. He said with a big smile, “why didn't you tell me?”. (I'm pretty low key.). He rushed off and came back to our table with an anniversary card, confetti for the table and two red roses. Much to our delight! We ordered our usual meal, sharing a few dishes, especially the filet with fig sauce and onions, always yummy!! 👍 Since it was late, we were going to skip dessert. Well, our server shows up with a “Happy Anniversary” dessert plate, with a little flourless chocolate cake and a little cheesecake, very nicely presented. I have a foodservice background...and I was impressed by our servers' charm and quick response, even at a late hour. We weren't rushed and several other staff wished us well. So, that's why we keep returning to this Capital Grill. The staff is always warm, friendly and lively. The food is great...and we try different dishes.
