Cozy place. Lots of wood finish. Beers were good with some variety. No flights though.
Had the tacos which were really good. Menu has a lot to choose from.

This little place is adorable. The perfect little brewery for a tasty bite and some yummy drinks. We stopped in on a whim tonight for the first time and noticed right away how cozy and welcoming the establishment was. We were greeted with smiles by all employees, were checked on multiple times by various staff and you could really tell everyone was helping each other out. We had some amazing ciders that were probably some of the best I've ever had (the Wyndridge Baked Pear cider was phenomenal). We didn't try any of their own beers, but their offerings were great.
I had the brie and fig burger and it was seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I was recommended the tator tots and they were super crispy and delicious. My boyfriend had the Mac and cheese with pork and that was really tasty as well. We also had the onion petals for an app and while I usually find appetizers like that to be too oily, these were perfect. Nice and crispy.
Overall the aesthetic, service, and food was amazing. Highly highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

We visited Ephrata on a whim and did not make over night accommodations. While sitting at the Black Forest Brewery, we met the owners wife, Denise, who owns the 1777 Americana Inn, next door. Even though her Inn was sold out for the night, she helped us find a place to stay in Ephrata Pa. The beer is delicious and the service is top notch!! Hope to return to Ephrata and stay at the 1777 Americana Inn!!

Sooo I've been in the area for over two years now, and was looking for a spot to eat that I haven't tried yet. I found this place, and browsed the menu online, which sounded delicious! I was intrigued when I came across "shrimp and grits." I am born and raised southern and have been looking for grits since I moved here, but I've been hesitant to give them a try since it's not back home. Well, let me say that I had the dish and I approve! Those were some of the best creamy grits I've ever had! The shrimp was a bit salty, but it had lots of flavor! I will be returning to purchase this again, along with trying all the other yummy options! I was also pleased with all the gluten/dairy free options as well!
We had a delicious mushroom, onion swiss burger and king conversation. such great ambiance. Will be back!

Totally enjoyed drinks and dinner at the this lovely place. When we arrived they were busy. We were greeted promptly and got a table outside on the patio. Our waitress, Nyla was attentive, pleasant, and helpful. My husband had the Brie, Fig Burger which was juicy and flavorful. I had the Pulled Pork Tacos. They were scrumptious. Great presentation and just the right bite. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a medium burger and was given a beyond welldone burger. Every bite was a disappointment as all I could taste was this burnt nasty flavor that was definitely not worthy of a $17 burger. Waitress didn't come around much, and when I mentioned the issue, I wasn't even offered a new one, just a discounted price for a nasty burger. Waitress said it was normal for a charcoal grill, but I've had burgers made perfectly fine on a charcoal grill before. This was just completely burnt flavored and gross, which is not worthy of said price. So basically, I paid $17 for a beer and fries, still felt ripped off as I couldn't even finish half of this burger. Left no tip since I got overcharged for fries and a beer. I won't be coming back here again, which is a shame as I've heard nothing but good things. A medium burger has red in it, you'll have to order a rare if you want medium. The atmosphere was good, just an overall disappointing experience for the price with food, and I left hungry as the burger was inedible. Next time, maybe consider offering to remake the food instead of handing the check.

Ask for a spicy chicken sandwich!! You will not regret it. It’s maybe the best thing I’ve ever eaten.

Great!!!
Waiters were extremely friendly, they checked in to do refills and made sure everything was what we needed. Food was delicious, huge amount of fried pickles for the appetizer, fried chicken bites were the best I’ve ever had. Perfect crunchy French fries as well. Shrimp and Grits was delicious, creamy spicy flavor, perfect pairing with the sausage and shrimp. Meatloaf and potatoes was good, very creamy potatoes.
Other patrons were also very kind and friendly. Definitely will visit again.
