The food was fine but the ice tea tasted funny. When I got a new one, it was worse -- tasted distinctly salty. I hope they fix that. We'll go back again.

Order DoorDash is unable to drive ordered sausage and gravy over biscuits with a side of toast somebody there is clueless enough. They dumped the gravy over plain white bread and thought that was an acceptable order then they’re only option to resolve. It was to have me drive down there today or tomorrow to pick up a new order they might have ready and they couldn’t refund my money When I specifically said I ordered DoorDash because I was unable to drive tonight for various reasons. Don’t go here don’t order from these guys.

Newer to the Lancaster area and having searched for a great local restaurant, the New Ephrata Cloister has become our family's favorite. The menu offers a great variety of choices, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. But what truly sets this restaurant apart from others is the friendly, attentive staff and management. Clearly a well-run, small family business with high standards. We look forward to another visit soon!

Food was fine, but I when I paid, I forgot my to go box and realized it not even 5 minutes away, turned around, and they had already thrown it out within those 5-10 minutes. I wouldn’t have minded so much but it was most of my breakfast, was rather pricy, I returned within 10 minutes and they didn’t even wanna offer anything to replace it. I know I shouldn’t have forgotten my box, but I did go back in a timely manner and to not even wait a few minutes for a full box of food is crazy

What a great find! Reasonably priced lunch specials and great food besides. Everything was great from the hosts greeting us, to an amazing server. The place was screaming busy, but the staff made it look easy to get it all done gracefully. Close to the Cloisters too!
