I came here once before a couple years ago but couldn’t recall the experience, so after stopping for lunch I now remember it was very average and forgettable. On this visit the fish tacos were okay but very small and not worth it. The cheesesteak was a bit dry and just didn’t taste like ribeye, and the cheese was very generic and almost gritty. Very nice atmosphere and service was good, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

We always love coming to this restaurant! Everytime we come, we leave happy and is always pleased! This trip we got the Old Bay Wings, Brussel Sprouts, White Chicken Chili, and the Chicken Finger plate for our boys. Ways great food! And soo much history in this building.

Waitress served the food on a tray, some of the food fell on the tray and she used her bare hands to place the food back of our plates...yikes!
Most telling....owner never responds to the reviews!

My husband and I stopped in to have dinner while visiting the area. We found the food to be good, but felt the pricing was a little high. Portion size was average. Both soup and salad were extra. Tomato bisque with melted cheese was delicious. My husband said the salad was okay. Crab cakes with fingerling potatoes and green beans were pretty good; the pork and sautéed apples with roasted Brussels sprouts was husband-approved. Felt the menu was limited. Service was excellent and the atmosphere in the dining room was comfortable. Parking was available behind the restaurant.

Nice place with many food options. We were there on a Thursday night and most of us ordered burgers since burgers are all $14 on Thursdays. The place was busy but we had called ahead for a table.

All the lights were on the open sign blazing in the window and they refused us any kind of service 30 minutes before closing.
We ate nothing drank nothing and it was still the WORST experience ever.
Save your money and go to Burger

I read the reviews a couple of months back where someone stated that this was the best Fish & Chips that they ever had so this being our first time at this restaurant I decided to try it. Well the serving turned out to be a small piece of fish that made me ask the waiter if the cook left out a second piece. The waiter said, no we serve one long piece. This was clearly not a long piece but a skimpy and dried out over-cooked piece of fish. So the cook or management clearly did not care about the quality of what was being served tonight. There was no attempt to correct the item in question and I did not push it any further with the waiter. The waiter was attentive and tried to be helpful. I would not order this item again but feel that too often restaurant owners take for granted their customer base and start slagging on quality of what they serve the public.

We stopped at 9:32 on Wednesday 26th. Looked it up on line, open until 10 pm., expecting the kitchen might be closed but maybe? We’ve always wanted to try it and was greated with they did last call and I’m sorry there’s nothing else we can do for you. Rude and early than the time and there were a lot things he could’ve said. There’s a lot of good food at places and good atmosphere. We walked in once and will never be back. Also if say your going to be open and have the open sign as well, have a bar full of people.. turn your sign off and list that your open until 9:30

First time here and it won't be our last... Enjoyed a delicious bourbon burger. The fish and chips was one of the best we have ever had. We travel to a lot of East Coast towns and have eaten a lot of fish and chips but this fish was in the top two of all of our dining experiences. Our bartender was so sweet and attentive and made the perfect drink. Enjoyed the atmosphere and there was plenty of parking around back. Try the peanut butter pie.. Yummy
