My husband and I come to this area at least twice a year during bird migrations at Middle Creek. We've been wanting to find a good restaurant: reasonably priced, open mid-day, good food, good drinks, good service and most importantly -- a good vibe. We found it here! All boxes are checked. We had 2 days of excellent meals: husband had oysters both days, which he said were excellent. He also had an excellent cheeseburger (bourbon barrel burger) and Chicago beef sandwhich. I had Turkey Rachel and a sliced beef sammy. The BEST was my dessert: an espresso martini! All espresso martinis are not created equal. This is the best of the best. And a nice pour, not the tiny little martini glasses you sometimes get. Additionally, our server was exceptional. She knew the menu and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Mya! We hope to return to see the snow geese migration in February, and we will get our meals at the Olde Lincoln House.

Been going here for many years and prior to this visit it was always top notch. Something changed. We ate outside at their barn. Food was mediocre at best and service was worse. It will be quite a while till we return.

Charming restaurant with lovely atmosphere. The food is top notch!! We had Cheese steak egg rolls, Rachel & Bourbon Barrel Cheeseburger. Everything was delicious and the burger was cooked perfectly. We definitely will go again!!
My wife graduated from nursing school so we needed a few days get away. Found the restaurant, thought we'd give it a chance, you were we surprised. Staff were out of this world friendly, food was AMAZING and overall atmosphere was extremely relaxing. Though we would just do lunch but ended up there for lunch and dinner. Sat at bar for dinner and the bar tender was on her game and provide us with a nice evening get away.

Service: Good. Attentive and polite waitress. Food: No soup or salad with meals. No choice of vegetables - you get what you get, and my meal included 4 stalks of asparagus. Scallops were fishy. Husband ordered steak, well done; it was served red inside. Atmosphere: Historic decor. Unfortunately, they always play 1950's music - which does not enhance the atmosphere. Why not some nice, calming instrumental music? An expensive experience which will not be repeated.
