This undiscovered, moderately-priced gem of an Italian restaurant on Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown is the real deal. It offers authentic, super-delicious food and an expansive selection—pasta, meat, seafood , vegetarian, you name it. The sauces could have been made by my Italian-born mother-in-law, yep, that good! The pasta was serve perfectly al dente, the claims must have just plucked from the sea! Sebastian our waiter was attentive and friendly. (We were the only patrons on a Thursday night!) Make your reservation ASAP. This place will catch on!

I've heard good things about Bacio and was looking forward to eating there. It was great food experience . We shared a roasted vegetable platter for starters. Each meal is individually made, so you need to wait. I had scallops and sausage on pasta with rich sauce .My friend had flounder stuffed w crabmeat .Both were delicious. We shared a Tiramisu. ( They did not have coffee , made tea for us) .

We had a great dinner with our friends. The place was busy but food was delivered quickly. The food was well prepared and tasty. I recommend it highly.

Food is spectacular. Nice to have a BYOB with a little Sinatra playing in the background in Springfield Township and so close to home. Great spot to walk to during snow storms!

The food was delicious. We had scallops and lasagna in our group. For an appetizer, we had calamari and the special arugula salad. All the inredients were fresh. The service was excellent too. I will definitely be going back.

There was only one waiter taking eat in orders as well as pick up so it takes a while to be served. He was pleasant through it all so that's a plus. The food was ok. It's also byob.

Bacio’s is always great! Not just for their food and service, but also for the “Pure Jerry” music performance in the parking lot that Sat. Maybe that’s why our dishes were $10 more for each meal than what was shown in the menu that night?? That was a surprise. Not sure why this happened but nothing beats an Italian BYOB dinner!

My very FAV Italian restaurant...anywhere!...used to be in my neighborhood in Mt. Airy and always busy. The owner and chef, Jay, is a doll and learned his culinary trade from his Italian grandmother, whose black & white photo dons the menu. His dishes are authentic and he's always creating FABULOUS new ones...he spends every afternoon getting his fresh groceries for that evenings creations, and incredible Italian bread at the Italian Market in South Philly. I love his Mushroom Pappardelle appetizer so much and hounded him to make it a main dish...and he finally did! My FAV is his EGG PLANT PARMISIAN...no one makes it better, and in Philly, that is saying ALOT! He creates little 'tastes' that he brings to your table to try before the meal, gratis. His SEA FOOD dishes are so creative and DELISH! When I lost my partner, he showed up at her Celebration of Life with a massive tray of his (better than anywhere in the world) Tira Misu...it was her favorite and mine. He has since moved to Erdenheim, a bigger place, cool older building. I moved to the Bay Area, California 5 years ago and when I come 'home' I go to BACIO with friends to get my fix...Eggplant Parm and Tira Misu and a big, warm hug from the sweetest guy ever, Jay... And I have not been able to find anyone who knows how to make Eggplant parm out here!BACIO is a gem...times have rocked the restaurant industry...get out there, support your local restaurants, and treat yourself to a fabulous authentic, yet original Italian meal!

My family frequently eat at Bacio, we've had many great experiences here and have even gotten to know the owner from his original location in Mount Airy. You can expect to find a variety of flavorful dishes, such as pasta dishes (the sweet potato gnocchi is masterful) with rich sauces, fresh seafood (I once had a fantastic chippino there), hearty meat dishes, and desserts like riccota cake that remind me of how my family cooks and the recipes my grandmother made.I've always enjoyed how the atmosphere reminded me of dining with my own family.

We've been Bacio groupies since shortly after Jay opened his restaurant in Mount Airy. We enjoyed the ambience of the tiny dining room with the kitchen along one side. The food was enjoyable. It was like family, fellow patrons, servers, staff, owner, and Manny the greeter-in-chief! Jay moved the whole show to Erdenheim and lost only the kitchen-in-dining-room, and Manny. Classier, more formal, but the food is as good as ever! Bacio survived the pandemic, and the rebirth is worthy of celebration.
