Fairlane Diner nails everything you want in a neighborhood spot—tasty food, a huge menu, and genuinely friendly service. The breakfast sandwich hit the spot, and the chocolate milkshake was excellent. Fun, old-school interior with a great lunch counter vibe that makes you want to linger. Wide variety of hot sauces available, i was told Frank’s is the best. This place is Reliable, welcoming, and easy to love. Always happy to come back. Only drawback/ no Coke products. I had 4 drinks. Ginger ale, water, orange juice, milkshake.

Breakfast made to absolute perfection, fantastic portions for the price, clean and friendly environment, and the warmest, sweetest wait staff imaginable, even while very busy. It's cash only, so make sure you account for that. Seating is limited, so make sure you have a little time to wait, especially on a weekend morning - but the staff is very efficient, so it wasn't long and was *well* beyond worth it. So glad to have a local neighborhood place like this. Will definitely be back!

I moved here two years ago and always passed this place but never went in until last weekend. What a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive and friendly. The food portions and quality were great. The price tag didn’t break the bank like every other place anymore. Definitely the option when you just want solid food at reasonable prices and friendly service.

Went with friends. Waitress knew my friends names and their drink orders. I had the grilled cheese—gooey and great!
Great service and food. Exactly what you expect you’d get at a spot that looks like this and it hits every time. Very quick too. Order to table was like 6 min for 2 sandwiches.

Food is typically good! But, I called this morning and someone with a really bad attitude answered. I had my phone on speaker and her response was very rude…saying something about it being annoying…which was unnecessary, as I was already in the process of changing it…and had a consistent attitude when taking my order. Hung up on me and everything…very rude and unfriendly. I cant trust someone who is that rude on the phone to be polite in person. So I cancelled. I hate that I had this experience because I order there frequently. Maybe she was having a bad day but, Its not my responsibility to know that. If Im gonna pay $18 for pancakes, eggs and bacon it should come with great customer service. And if I ask how much it is, i should be told a price without an attitude being that they accept only cash and I wanna make sure I bring the right amount. Hopefully she gets it together and I know my 18 may not be much to them, but it wasn't worth spending where I'm not treated appropriately. As I would give a server grace for a mistake or small issue, i would expect the same from the server.

As I arrived too early for a nearby event, my friend & I decided to pop in for breakfast. OMG, probably the best pancakes I've ever had. I'm often not trusting of trying new places (and some Google/Yelp reviews can be misleading), but I'd definitely recommend this place. Great breakfast, nice environment - perfect for Saturday morning catch up sessions with friends or family. Definitely come through if you're in the neighborhood, because these special food corners of the world deserve more shine!
