Delicious food and a lot of fun watching the show as they cook it.

Great pricing! Chefs weren't too talkative, could be more friendly or outgoing. Very adaptable to my special requests!!

Came here years ago and it was great....now its dirty, chairs falling apart, sticky tables, sketchy looking sushi. Beer in a can was good.....go elsewhere, please. Dont reward this kind of management with your hard earned money.

Food was amazing. Chef was very funny! Cleanliness not so good. Need to get the carpets redone. Tripping hazard waiting to happen. Still a good visit.

Came here often when I was in college about 10 years ago. I had fond memories of the place, it's food, atmosphere, and staff. Dined this evening for a friend's birthday party, and it was not a pleasant experience. The food met expectation, no complaints there. The service, however, was horrendous. The hostess upon entry was not friendly or helpful in the slightest, no sense of urgency, nor a warm and welcoming demeanor. The waitress was rather sporadic and neglectful. Context. The entirety of the establishment was empty save for two other mid sized parties at the other hibachis. Drinks were not maintained and it was difficult to flag her down to order more or request refills as she was nowhere to be found. The grill master was fantastic; friendly, comical. When it came time for the checks, it took over 45 minutes to assemble and subsequently process the transactions. There was also confusion regarding the drinks which further delayed the process.

We were disappointed in the quality of the sushi, but that seems to be a common thread in these reviews. Both rolls were slathered in eel sauce and ended up tasting the same. The fried rice had nothing in it other than rice and maybe some egg - no small bits of vegetables. It seems as if management is really skimping on their product instead of maybe raising prices slightly in order to provide a better product.

Very disappointed in what Ayoma has become. The large family adventure of going to the hibachi grill has lost the entertainment and just become an over priced meal. The chefs are no longer allowed to toss food and have ppl catch it with mouth or the favorite saki pour, taking most of the entertainment out of the meal. Poorly timed cooking of the meal had us sitting with a plate of noodles or rice getting cold while we waited for or meat or seafood to cook. Seafood dishes were done and eaten well before the chicken hit the plate. One good note, although not timed properly the chef did cook everything perfectly and it was delicious. Portions are much smaller than they use to be and prices are higher. To end things on an even worse note, we always get the fried ice cream, it use to be a delicious end to the event. Usually shared by 2 just as a sweet ending, not any more. Melon baller size chunk of melted ice cream in a doughy covering not much bigger than a golf ball, skip it. All this explains why the restaurant was almost empty at 7:30 on a Friday evening.

The salad was good. The sushi came out warm and after one bite, we paid our bill, left the restaurant and prepared for the inevitable trips to the toilet. This place used to be good, they have fallen far from those times.

What a wonderful time. I ordered the Japanese soda also. It was different but good. I will be returning for sure. Service was excellent and food came out in a timely manner for ordering 30 rolls in our group.

Took my son for his 21st birthday. We had a wonderful time. Our service was fantastic. They took very good care of us and the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was friendly, jovial and light. Definitely fun for kids and adults alike. Was very pleased with the pricing as well. Will most definitely be going and enjoying again.
