It was a neat little mom and pop breakfast place recommended by a friend. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, but there was a line out the door after we sat down. The food was excellent. It's a little bit crowded inside but I would recommend it.

A group of ladies from the office reserved an igloo for our get together. First time dining in an igloo. What a fun idea. Gorgeous views of Presque Isle Bay. It was nicely decorated with champagne. We enjoyed our music via the Bluetooth speaker inside. Our server Jessica was outstanding and provided us top-notch service. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Cauliflower Steak, and it was fantastic - very flavorful. I love the atmosphere there, I'm kind of curious as to why they are renovating... I really hope they don't "modernize" the charm out of the place.The food was fine, Everyone left full and content. We just did lunch and did not order anything that anybody would care to read about here. Just burger type stuff. But everything was fine. And the fries were exceptional.The big draw here is the atmosphere and scenery. Which, admittedly are much better in the warm months as you are afforded a direct view of lake Erie from much of the restaurant.There is a charming bar that could definitely lure me after work if I worked in downtown Erie.One major suggestion- getting to this place is a challenge if you have not been before. Signage at the entrance and along the very convoluted entry drive is almost non-existent.
Venue is pretty out looking water. Wait staff nice. Dinners are usually great but don’t show up for breakfast. An online menu will show you eggs Benedict, s’mores pancakes, along with sausage gravy and biscuits none of which are on their actual menu when you arrive. Combine this with high prices and you have a sub par breakfast option compared to actual good breakfast restaurants in town.

The Hotel is being upgraded which is a good thing but during the week the construction was noisy starting at 8 am. Too early!My room wasn’t cleaned for the 1st two days but then it was regularly made up.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant has an extensive kids menu, lots of options.The pool is great but small and can be crowded
