It’s been a few years since we last visited the Beechwood. I remember the food being very good and was excited to have lunch there today with my son. Unfortunately, my “extra crispy” wings were undercooked, my fresh cut fries were barely cooked (had to take them home to cook them more so that they were edible), and my burger was served on a bun so dry that it crumbled before I could take a bite (ended up eating my burger without the bun). I know they’ve changed owners...
What a truly hidden gem in Clayton, Georgia! Location to Main Street with its delicious restaurants and great shops was less than 3 minutes. At the inn you look out at mountains and hear the birds singing-such an incredible respite from busy city life where we live. The owners have thought of everything-yes, it’s true.
