Wow I got the Seafood Alfredo and it was fabulous. My son got lobster ravioli and said it was delicious. I will definitely be going back. The price was higher, but for food that tasted that good who cares.

This is a must go place! Their food is amazing. Never had a bad meal here. Small and quiet - must make a reservation, but well worth it. It is a little pricey, but you will get what you pay for ~ excellence and flawless service. One of Erie's finest cuisines and one of my favorite stops.

Everything was so perfectWe're kicking ourselves for not having tried out this place earlier, despite having heard so many good things! As we came in on a weekday night, we were seated right away (they do take reservations too). The inside is family friendly and cozy, with some nice jazzy type music playing. We started of with a delicious cup of creamy brussel sprout soup as recommended by our server. Then a salad with raspberry vinaigrette (they offer a good variety of other homemade salad dressings as well). The vegetables were fresh, and the provided bread was buttered and grilled well.We tried the Bistro Crab cakes, Ribeye, and Filet mignon, wish mashed potato, sautéed veggies and gnocchi for the sides. Everything was delicious and seasoned well. The star of the show was the Filet Mignon Au Poivre. It was one of the best filets we have ever had. The preparation in particular (cooked rare, as requested) was perfect. The meat was tender and flavorful. The generous amount of pepper cream sauce really complimented the dish. Our server, Michael, was very attentive, polite, and professional. We enjoyed our experience here, and will be back to try more dishes.

I ordered the chicken kabobs, and they were very dry and didn't have a very good taste. I know prices have increased, but their prices are over the top. First time and last time.

Nice dinner with our weekly dinner group. First time there. Food was delicious , server was great and made excellent recommendations. Nice clean friendly atmosphere. Spoke to the owner at the end of the night, told us the history of the Lawrence Park Dinor and his opening Bistro 26.

Delicious food. Dessert portions are a bit small for the price. Main course portions are good. Servers are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about what is on the menu. Definitely will go back.

One of the best steaks in town. Eaten here a thousand times and never once had a bad meal. That's rare.

I came here with a couple of local family members that raved about this places food. We tried calling in to see if they could take us because we understood that they are reservation only. No one answered the phone even though we tried multiple times. We figured we would take our chances and go there to see if we could get in. When we walked in the door, we were looked at like peasants and told that they had other reservations and that we would have to leave in about an hour. Fair enough. The place was almost completely empty. We were sat at a table and ordered our food. I'm pretty sure our waitress forgot how to smile because she kept looking at us like we were beneath her. Once our food arrived, I was looking toward the front desk and watched two couples come in that had the same issue as us, no one answered the phone, resturaunt is apparently booked, so now they've been turned away. There was another waitress and waiter who said very loudly to each other while walking past our table (the waitress to the waiter) that "It's a shame we have to turn away the right people because we already brought in the WRONG people". Now I understand this place seems to pride itself on being "reservation only" but for the horrible treatment and the "meh" food I think you have some getting off of your high horse to do Bistro 26. I definitely expected nicer treatment when the meal was 150.00 for 4 people. And by the way, the "wrong people" that you let in have way more money than you would know what to do with, and will gladly spend it somewhere else. I'll never forget this horrible experience.
