The building and decorations were dated and gaudy. The steak I was served was completely charred with the burnt half turned down. They served garlic as an add-on with a butter spread which was dry, undercooked and could not be spread. I ordered a porterhouse 20 oz steak which was actually smaller than the 12 oz rib eye my friend ordered. When a customer returns 3/4 of their steak and management has not a word to say it is a definite tell of the establishments commitment to quality. I will not be returning especially having paid $103.32 for a piece of meat charcoal. This was far from fine dining and there's obviously no quality control in the kitchen. My apologies again to the the server.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant! The atmosphere was pristine and our Server Lashanae was amazing. Very professional but super friendly ❤️ Totally enjoyed the experience! Best French Onion Soup I've had in a very long time.

I am always reluctant to write a review that is less than glowing, but I was so disappointed with our recent visit to Bricks. We had come here before and were so impressed with our overall experience that we knew we wanted to come back. We raved about our experience to friends and family and encouraged others to try this new place. This time however, it was really underwhelming. It was my partner's birthday and he was really looking forward to our meal. It started out with them not having his wine of choice (which is on the menu). It seems odd to me that if you only offer a select number of wines, then you should keep them in stock. The second frustration was that we battled fruit flies and regular flies all evening long. Not something you should have to deal with when you are having what I consider to be a higher end meal. Our meals were both ok. Not anything great, just ok. I had called the restaurant earlier in the day inquiring about desserts because it was his birthday and was told there were 2 kinds of cheesecake, regular New York style and a raspberry cheesecake. When it was time to order dessert our server described the raspberry cheesecake as having raspberries on the dish all around the cheesecake, a raspberry glaze on top and then a raspberry swirl throughout. There was none of that. There was one lone raspberry pushed into the top of the cheesecake. That was it. When I questioned her about it, she shrugged it off and said the raspberries are in the cheesecake and walked away. Now I must add here that we were the only ones in the restaurant that evening. I asked if there were reservations later and our server said "no". We were it for the night, so I don't know if they were anxious to get everything cleaned up or low on supplies, but it was disappointing to say the least and so different from our first time there. Not sure if we will go back.

Truly one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time! Even the asparagus was fantastic! The NY Strip Steak was perfectly seared and cooked, The Salmon was perfect with the lemon sauce, The Scallop & Prawn Alfredo was creamy and had great flavor and the star was the Crab Cakes with the Caramelized Onion Risotto! We will certainly be back when we come through again. Now, let’s talk about the house that it is in! This place is just gorgeous!! We were severely underdressed as we had been traveling all day long and were just ready for a good meal and this location and place got the spot!

Planned a business dinner here sight unseen. What a gem! The food was spot on. The cocktails delicious. The service was on point. I lucked out for sure! If I lived near Erie, this would be in the rotation for any special meal (or just a night to treat ourselves). Highly recommend.

Hosted a business dinner for 23 people. Having never been to Erie before, I took a chance and booked at Bricks. It was wonderful. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Get the risotto. Hard Stop.
The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, and the service, particularly Shay's, was exceptional. While our food was enjoyable, I rated my meal with only three stars. My reasoning is that at $33, you receive only one crab cake along with two sides, whereas typically at that price point, one would expect to receive two crab cakes.
