Myself and my colleagues typically eat at Cheddars once or twice a month during the lunch hour. We order online and pick up from the local Cheddars 2085 Interchange Rd Erie, PA 16509. Today we placed an order for a Philly Cheesesteak and 2 Buffalo Chicken Wraps. I picked up the food and since it was in a tied bag I did not double check the order. When I got back to the office, I found that there was no Philly Cheesesteak in the bag and the Buffalo wraps were not Buffalo at all as they were made incorrectly. I called several times trying to reach the manager (Matt) and kept being put on eternal hold. He was hiding behind his front line staff instead taking care of the issue. So I went back to the restaurant to see Matt. I was told that he wouldn't see me so with the escort of a server I went back into the kitchen to chat. Matt was very standoffish and dismissive of the issue. He had another staff member escort me back out of the kitchen and threaten me with law enforcement action. I obliged and explained to that staff member that I just needed a refund and would be gone. He took a picture of my receipt in order to gain my name to supply to law enforcement. This is just about the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Food was processed burgers. The rice dish was very good and would return for that, if local. Not a high recommended restaurant with all the other choices in the area.

We were lured in by the promise of freshly made food, but should have trusted the reviews that said you receive drinks/apps quickly….. and then wait 1+ hours for your meal to come out. Waited 90 MINUTES and finally asked the waiter how much longer it would be. He said he wasn’t sure because they were really busy. Which doesn’t really answer the question. We ended up paying for the appetizer, left with three hungry kids, and found another place to eat. Total waste of time on our roadtrip. What’s interesting is they continued to seat people and pack the place in—looking around no one else had meals either. If they can’t keep up, they should just turn folks away. 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend!

Great food. Had corn breaded fish. Really crunchy, generous portion. Wife haf the pot pie, crust was super flakey. Prices very reasonable.

Great selection of foods with very fair prices. We all enjoyed our dishes, but my youngest child loved the Monte Christo sandwich. Service was quite good, we wish we lived closer to a Cheddars back home.

The food was delicious! Our meals came out hot, fresh, and exactly as we ordered. The portions were generous, and every bite was flavorful!
What really made the experience stand out, though, was the quality of service. Our server, Benjamin, was attentive without being overbearing, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. Drinks were refilled quickly, our table was always checked on at the right moments, and special requests were handled smoothly and with a smile.
Overall, it was one of those meals where everything just went right. Great food, great service, and a great value for the price. We’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending Cheddar’s to friends and family!
