Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! We first went to Cheddars down in Florida and we LOVED it!!! My wife found out there was one in Erie PA, so we planned a weekend getaway in Erie just so we could eat there again!!!

i went in and the hostess was great, sat right away and our server greeted us no issue. we put in our appetizers before our food and we had to wait 30 minutes for our food to come out, only for our appetizers to come out at the same time our main dishes did. the food was not only cold but my husbands steak was severely under cooked than what we asked for. I also found a hair in my country fried chicken. the country gravy was chunky and looked disgusting. we were sitting at a table where you could see into the kitchen a bit, i saw servers grabbing croissants with their bare hands and serving it to people. very unsanitary ! overall i had a terrible experience and would never recommend this place to anybody.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is a national treasure. The delicious honey covered croissants are complimentary but if you want more and you will, they're only $1.99. The southern fried chicken is smothered in gravy and my go to for the affordable double breast that is so good warmed up its like dinner and lunch you actually look forward to the next day. The chocolate cake sundae was so decadent it made me sneeze. The service was incredible especially in an absolute blizzard. I highly recommend this establishment

This review is for my server Kulay in particular, big fan here. She nailed the simple steps, the ones most people skip in the service industry. Polite, smiles, introduced herself by name. I was her last customer, late on a Sunday. That's not fun for anyone. But she was nothing but 100% pleasant. I came in off of a long, cold work day, and she was perfect. Didn't bat an eye when I ordered two beers at once, and she even kinda made fun of me for sending back my baked potato because it had sour cream on it. She's got gumption, which is not necessarily a required trait for being a server at Cheddars. I would promote her if I could

Oh we love this restaurant and dine here every time we are in Erie. The portions are huge and so reasonably priced. Wisconsin cheese bites are a must try but order only one for the group!! Servers are always knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Server was very good. But again we had problems with our order of the potato soup. It wasn't given to us until we were done with our meal...in a to- go container.(this was our 2nd trip to this restaurant) Our first time here, the server wasn't nice, food came out at different times. I order the potato soup...it was cold, had it sent back and it was cold again. Ended up taking a container home. But, the manager (Jason)was great...he found out that there was an issue with the heating of the soup. Great food. Maybe just kitchen help issues? 11/18/2025 On today's visit....the server was great, and she checked on us frequently. My order was good, and i took a dessert home, carrot cake..it was delicious! It was a generous serving, very moist and tasty.... 👍

I have been to Cheddars many times and have had a good experience. Not tonight! One waitress for the entire bar area. She was running her buttons off trying to take care of numerous tables and parties at the bar. Took our order, a salad and a vegetable plate. Waited over half an hour for it to come out... As it was my birthday, I had a free dessert coupon so we ordered the monster cookie to share. One bite and I nearly threw up! The cookie tasted like stale grease from a fryer. We ate the ice cream off the top of the cookie, and because it was free, left it at that. As we were leaving, we noticed two hostesses sitting in a booth wrapping silverware at a snail's pace while our waitress was still busting her butt. One of them could have been helping her, running food to tables. In looking at the receipt, I noticed we were overcharged for the salad by over $3.00. Very bad experience! Thinking we may not go back again...

Very disappointed. Drove 90 minutes to get my favorite, the monte cristo, only to find out they were out. This is the second time this has happened at this restaurant. You would think with it being a very popular menu item, they would order accordingly. Was looking forward all week to go and get my favorite, only to have to get something else. I will call before I drive to Erie again.

Long time to get food. Meal came before appetizer. I had to ask where appetizer was. Said they were waiting on chicken tenders. Weird because the tenders were just as cold as rest of meal! You could tell our food had been sitting, there was film on spinach dip. Would not recommend to anyone.
