Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great place for us travelling with a trailer and needed and overnight. Only issue is the highway is close by and if it is hot outside and your windows are open it can be noisy for sleeping. Staff were wonderful.

First we were seated by a large group of women at a two person table even though there were several tables empty and remained empty further away from them. The hostess made a comment about it and we thought maybe they were packed as to why she seated us there but that were not. Our waitress was so busy they finally sent us a temporary girl to take our order. When our waitress finally came to our table it was to inform us that my husband’s meal was done but it would take another half hour for the campfire chicken to be done. She gave the option of if I wanted to wait, which is the reason we drove 35 minutes and if he wanted his meal know. We chose to wait with the understanding he would receive FRESH chicken tenders. When our meal arrived they brought him a plate with chicken tenders but no fries. She said the fries weren’t done. Looking at the chicken tenders you could tell all they did was to put them in the fryer to reheat. They were very dark in color and when he went to eat one it was very chewy and uneditable. My meal was cooked properly but it was hard to enjoy it since all my husband ate was French fries. The cook(s) definitely need to look at the complete order before preparing a meal as this happened another time when my husbands meal was prepared and they realized they only had one piece of trout for my meal.

Food was excellent. Our server was fabulous however everything was in slow motion for our visit. Not sure if they were short staffed or just slow that day. Overall a positive experience though

Ordered the lemon pepper trout. It was good but my sides were carrots and rice. They only gave me a total of 5 carrots and the rice was okay but had no flavor. Waitress was great and very efficient. Took a long time to get our food. I think we waited roughly around 20-25 min before we got our meals.

Tonight was one of the best meals my husband and I both enjoyed. The pot roast was delicious and the beef campfire meal was equally tasty. Service was superb as well. Delightful evening. Looking forward to return visit

Cassandra was the best server. We recently ate there for several meals while on a weekend away. She was so pleasant and attentive. Our experience was nothing but.enjoyable. Also, the food was delicious. My children asked to go back more than once.

Stopped for lunch on a road trip

I’m from down in Ky and stopped in on the way to Niagara Falls for lunch, atmosphere and service was just like down home, food was wonderful and the service was great!
