Happy Wok is the best Chinese food in Erie. The owners recently took a much deserved break over the summer; my wife and I ordered take out within a day of the restaurant reopening. If you're looking to try something new, get the black pepper chicken...I promise you will not be disappointed!
Usually my favorite. I had to throw my Sesame Chicken out. Had a weird taste. Burnt? Sour? I don't know. Looked off too.They are usually spot on with great quality. This was awful. Waste of $20.00. As if my day wasn't awful enough, which is why I ordered take out.I was so disappointed.

Food and service are excellent. A bigplastic sheet hangs over the front counter and hides any view of the kitchen which can be problematic. Hard to tell how clean it is back there.

Normally a great place for good food. However, my visit today had me a little concerned. While I waited, there was a little girl in the kitchen who put her face in a container and then proceeded to put food in it. Shouldn't kids not be in such a dangerous location, let alone serving food? I'm hoping it wasn't my food... Makes me nervous to eat it.

STEER CLEAR!!!! Took forever kids toys everywhere and even a mattress in the kitchen unfortunately I had no other choices and they didn’t even have everything I ordered. Also didn’t even make the food correctly screwed up my meal and several orders before mine. Thank you for making the worst Christmas ever even worse!
