This is a place that I have eaten in since I was a child, 60+ years. They have the best food.It is an experience to eat there.Thank you.Kid-friendliness: The waitresses are caring, fun, pay attention to the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It is narrow, but doable.Street level entrance.

Amazing service, great atmosphere. And the food, the food is even better than I remember it being some twenty years ago. The gyro are perfection! And the Greek sauce is top notch!!

The price is right. Altogether, the food was ok. The gyro was killer, but the fries were thumbs down.

Whoever that old guy with the wooden cane is....you should probably tell him to stop coming there. Everytime I come there, this man, ON PURPOSE eyeballs you as he's trying to leave...as if there isn't enough room for him to walk through the front as your trying to cadh out. As he proceeds past you he walks as sloooow as possible and won't let you get around him so you cant leave until he gets through the exit. Then when he gets outside. He fires up a cigarette and looks at you until you get to your car and drive away. Meanwhile he's bending over and gesturing very quickly and is moving perfectly fine. You know exactly who I'm talking about...

Cool little spot. I came here maybe 15 years ago and then again back in January of 2023 and really enjoyed it. I was craving a steak sandwich and they came through. Boyfriend absolutely loved his food and it was cheap. The waitress even gave us tips on what/how to order to make it more affordable and she was a great waitress already. Cute little diner vibe too.

I'd like to preface my review by saying that I did order my food via DoorDash, so I'm reviewing ONLY the food.I ordered a lamb gyro (with everything on it) and sides of small onion rings and small greek fries. The gyro was pretty good, especially the tzatziki sauce that comes in it, and it came with plain fries on the side. The onion rings were alright (could've been crispier) and the greek fries as well as the fries that came as a side to my gyro were soft and needed salt. The softness may be due to the fact that my order wasn't necessarily fresh (as is the nature of DoorDash). Additionally, I don't think I actually received greek fries because these seemed like chili cheese fries to me and they were a bit spicy, so I wasn't a fan of them at all. Maybe I received the wrong side. If I ordered from here again, I'd just stick with a gyro, because I did enjoy that!

Greek sauce is the bomb!Greek omelette is big enough for two people! As it was my first time there, the owner came out and spoke to me.Very personable guy and really knows how to run a business. The vibe in the place is very retro and it appears most of the patrons are well know to the staff and to each other. If you're in Erie, this experience isn't an option, it's a must do!!!

Usually decent, but this time my potatoes were undercooked, the greek fries and omelet had little to no cheese, and the greek sauce tasted off, like too much nutmeg. Which is extremely surprising being NYL is known for having the best greek sauce.
