The food was excellent. One person has a food allergy and the chef had no problem accommodating her. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful place! Great food and drinks. My only issue was I had requested a window seat for our Anniversary at the time of our reservation. We were nowhere near a window even though several window tables sat empty throughout our meal. Just a little disappointed. We'll try for a window seat again when we go back next month.

We looked at many locations along the water with a great view and menu for our 30th wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint! The view is amazing of the sunset, and yet the service and food was a wonderful compliment to our night! From our appetizer to our wine selection, everything was so flavorful! Our main courses were also flavorful and had large portions!

The experience in the restaurant was excellent except do not order the lobster pasta. They use claw meat and not the best part of the claw. Those top tips that taste rubbery and awful. Thanks for the manager. They took that off my bill. I will never order lobster pasta, but everything else was excellent. I just felt that putting claw meat in a high-end restaurant meal drags the whole restaurant down. Shame to whoever ordered that they obviously don't know good taste and texture. Unbelievably this was a chef special so if the chef likes lobster claw tips. Save a pile for him and will give them to him to eat. Bon appétit.

The service was ok. Our waiter was very kind and really trying his best, but he was very young (high school / college age) and improperly trained. He wasn't able to offer any recommendations and pronounced "herb" with a hard "H" when telling us about the specials. He also had a very hard time opening our wine and spilled some of it. I felt very embarrassed for him and wished he hadn't been thrown into the fire like that. We were very patient and kind regardless and left him a generous tip. The atmosphere was ok. I would have expected a bit more attention to detail regarding the cleanliness of the restaurant. The windows were very dirty, which completely detracted from the view, which is clearly one of the main selling points of the restaurant. Fortunately, however, the food was excellent, which really made up for the other short comings. We had the stuffed pepper appetizer, eggplant / shrimp pasta dinner, and walleye dinner. All were phenomenal and highly recommended. The chef and kitchen crew are nailing it ... bravo! Just a few tweaks out on floor and this will be a 5-star establishment!

Dined simply on the cauliflower, wedge, and cheeseburger. All were excellently prepared and very tasty. The service by Mike and Zack at the bar was outstanding. Very attentive and hospitable.

It was our first time at Oliver's Beer Garden. The atmosphere was perfect. It's a great place to gather on a nice night. The drinks, a little pricey for Erie, were good but nothing really special. The food was below average. I had the lobster roll. The menu states, "Lobster Seafood Roll : A Generous Portion of Lobster with Shrimp & Seafood on a Hoagie Bun". The bun was perfect, fresh and soft. The mix it in was basically tasteless. There was one shrimp, a bunch of imitation crab, and trying to find the lobster was like playing a game of Where's Waldo. I am not a fan of imitation crab or imitation anything. This was all mixed in a tasteless mayo type sauce and put over a few tiny diced tomatoes and few shreds of lettuce.
Very disappointing!

Great space, would avoid giving any kind of recommendation for improvement, wait staff did not take kindly to it.

(I suggested 1/2 pours of beer for those who may not want a full beer, good for young mothers, good for people who want to be responsible)

The last time I was in Erie PA this place was not built so it was a nice addition to this trip.

It's in a great location and there was a band playing which drew me in.

I was starving and had to get something to eat. I was really wanting some fish and chips considering that I was on the water it seemed like a fitting meal.

I got the $15 pulled pork sandwich and chips...which was HUGE and I literally could NOT pick it up, cos everything was falling OFF the bun. And I needed a fork and knife to cut it/eat. Taste wise, it was ok. But Not THE best, I have ever had.

This place is huge it has several fire pits and tons and tons of tables with excellent views. But I was definitely disappointed to find out that the only food they had, came from ONE food truck. It really seemed with the size of this place they should have had their own kitchen! Or at the very least a variety of food trucks!! I went on a Tuesday, so maybe things are different on the weekends?!

I wish there were servers (there seemed to be plenty of busboys!) ... cos I had a dog, and was by myself, so it made it very hard for me, to manage food, drink, dog etc!!

Food was very good. They gave my wife a free desert for her birthday which was very thoughtful. John our server was great and very personable. If you park in hampton lot they oick up the tab. Overall great experience. Would recommend.

The food was good, service good, but I resent the cost of the bread we ordered. We were 6 women, the “basket” had ONLY 5 rolls in the basket which was over $5. Too much money for bread !

The food can be quite good. However this time not so much. Steak was luke warm and didn't even melt the butter. Server would disappear for a while. Ambience is very good. You pay for the view. There are better upper end restaurants in Erie with better food at a better price.

Oliver's has a great view of Lake Erie and the weather was warm so the glass walls were open. It made for a great atmosphere. The service was very good as the server often checked back and let us know how the food was progressing The food was excellent! I got the Ricks lobster pasta which was very tasty. My wife got the brussel sprout salad which was also very good. The sweet potato cheese cake was was very good!!!

Our 6pm reservation was a semi-disaster. It took 90 minutes and multiple people in our party getting up to ask where our meals were, to get our entrees. Unfortunately, they had forgotten one meal in that timespan, so one person went without their entree, and 2 orders of the classic chicken piccata were severely overcooked. One was sent back with no replacement offered. We were comped a dessert, but that also took another half hour to get the to go dessert. My daughter was scheduled to sing downstairs at Oliver's Beer Garden in a guest spot at 9 with a band, and we were almost late for it because of all of the confusion of our meal... some leaving without even eating. We've been to Oliver's Rooftop at least 1 dozen times, and typically have zero complaints. But this dining experience left us, quite literally, hungry for something... anything, at the end of our night.
