They don’t listen to the employees issues when explaining a situation they don’t care who is at fault
The adult slushies had fake sweetener.
Really fun outdoor spot, lots of seating, food truck, mini golf, lots of drink options.
I really wanted to enjoy this place but they were blasting DJ music, on a Tuesday night, SO loud. What a way to ruin what could be great vibes at the waterside.
Oliver's is a fantastic place to sit near the water and enjoy some music before night.
Ridiculously priced. A small glass of savignion blanc served in plastic cup was $15. Might as well be in NYC.
Great place to hang out.. outside on great summer nights
The food was excellent. One person has a food allergy and the chef had no problem accommodating her. The server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. We'll definitely be back.
Beautiful place! Great food and drinks. My only issue was I had requested a window seat for our Anniversary at the time of our reservation. We were nowhere near a window even though several window tables sat empty throughout our meal. Just a little disappointed. We'll try for a window seat again when we go back next month.
We looked at many locations along the water with a great view and menu for our 30th wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint! The view is amazing of the sunset, and yet the service and food was a wonderful compliment to our night! From our appetizer to our wine selection, everything was so flavorful! Our main courses were also flavorful and had large portions!

The experience in the restaurant was excellent except do not order the lobster pasta. They use claw meat and not the best part of the claw. Those top tips that taste rubbery and awful. Thanks for the manager. They took that off my bill. I will never order lobster pasta, but everything else was excellent. I just felt that putting claw meat in a high-end restaurant meal drags the whole restaurant down. Shame to whoever ordered that they obviously don't know good taste and texture. Unbelievably this was a chef special so if the chef likes lobster claw tips. Save a pile for him and will give them to him to eat. Bon appétit.
The service was ok. Our waiter was very kind and really trying his best, but he was very young (high school / college age) and improperly trained. He wasn't able to offer any recommendations and pronounced "herb" with a hard "H" when telling us about the specials. He also had a very hard time opening our wine and spilled some of it. I felt very embarrassed for him and wished he hadn't been thrown into the fire like that. We were very patient and kind regardless and left him a generous tip. The atmosphere was ok. I would have expected a bit more attention to detail regarding the cleanliness of the restaurant. The windows were very dirty, which completely detracted from the view, which is clearly one of the main selling points of the restaurant. Fortunately, however, the food was excellent, which really made up for the other short comings. We had the stuffed pepper appetizer, eggplant / shrimp pasta dinner, and walleye dinner. All were phenomenal and highly recommended. The chef and kitchen crew are nailing it ... bravo! Just a few tweaks out on floor and this will be a 5-star establishment!
Dined simply on the cauliflower, wedge, and cheeseburger. All were excellently prepared and very tasty. The service by Mike and Zack at the bar was outstanding. Very attentive and hospitable.
It was our first time at Oliver's Beer Garden. The atmosphere was perfect. It's a great place to gather on a nice night. The drinks, a little pricey for Erie, were good but nothing really special. The food was below average. I had the lobster roll. The menu states, "Lobster Seafood Roll : A Generous Portion of Lobster with Shrimp & Seafood on a Hoagie Bun". The bun was perfect, fresh and soft. The mix it in was basically tasteless. There was one shrimp, a bunch of imitation crab, and trying to find the lobster was like playing a game of Where's Waldo. I am not a fan of imitation crab or imitation anything. This was all mixed in a tasteless mayo type sauce and put over a few tiny diced tomatoes and few shreds of lettuce.
Very disappointing!
