A great day with the side window open to let in the warmth. Our waiter was delightful & made us feel most comfortable!
Our server was amazing, the view is gorgeous and the food (we had the brunch) was delicious!
We love Oliver's Last year we ate there three nights in a row. This visit, we had a table near the entrance. People waiting were loud and were right next to us. Food was delicious but experience was not pleasant.
Traveling through Erie and my husband thought this would be a nice place to celebrate my birthday. I never write reviews but I felt they need to know they have some work to do. Experience fell flat. To start- view is great , if you are seated on the best side of the restaurant to see the sunset( we were not as requested). Food/ Service- our appetizer was served at the same time as our salad- weird and poor communication on service. Cauliflower appetizer was great. Caesar salad was good. Walleye ordered was bland and in a puddle of sauce and broccoli served with it was steamed in something that made it taste really funky, rice with meal was hard. Husband said his salmon, while it looked good, did not taste good. During our meal , they have this perimeter ac vent overhead along windows that dripped constantly from the ceiling on my husband and anyone sitting near windows. Trying to forget the entree and move on to dessert. ... one option was a Spanish cheesecake . We were excited to try this version having just returned from San Sebastián, Spain. It came with some awful mixture of peaches and basil on top that made it hard to appreciate the Spanish cheesecake ( good effort on the cheesecake but peach concoction made it GROSS). To top off my birthday dinner- the two other tables near us had birthdays recognized with their dessert but NOT our table. (Birthday was acknowledged twice by staff on waiting for our table prior to being seated). Completed the end of our meal and left us with a lasting “ maybe not next time” impression. View good, service- waitress nice but communication on service poor and food just ok and some parts BAD. Best part of our meal was appetizer. Maybe sit at bar and just have appetizer if going.
The service was slow, but the food was good. We enjoyed the wall being open and hearing the music from the beer garden
From the moment we arrived we were treated as though we were family, the staffs professionalism. Was outstanding! The over look of the bay was breathtaking! I would highly recommend Oliver's for a dining experience that you have never had before
Oliver's was amazing! The food, wine and dessert were delicious. Our waitress, Jo, was personable and so sweet! She brought out dessert for our anniversary and provided a voucher for parking. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate.
I brought a friend to have a belated birthday dinner and it was amazing. Our server was exemplary and the food was incredible.
My wife and my favorite spot to have special meal when we have one of our Erie getaways. Always enjoy the menu and the delicious food, we have dined on the great appetizers alone on some visits so we can enjoy as many flavors as possible. Our waitress last night, Laura, was fantastic and fun and surprised us with a Chocolate Chip Waffle Ice Cream Sundae complete with a private pyrotechnics show on our table. The whole restaurant staff is great every time we dine at Oliver's Rooftop and we're sure to be back at least once again this summer!
Our server was lovely, and the dessert for our anniversary as a celebration was a great surprise!

Decided to treat my honey to a nice dinner for Father's Day. Olivers did not disappoint. We were seated immediately at a cozy table overlooking the water. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. We started with the "don't give up the shrimp" appetizer. Crispy tempura, sauce was delicious and it was topped with sesame seeds and scallions. Presentation was nice as well. For our entrees my husband chose the surf and turf. Filet with lobster. Sides were loaded whipped mashed potatoes alongside carrots and asparagus. He cleaned his plate. Said everything was cooked to perfection. I opted for the blackened chicken caesar salad. The candied bacon was devine and really elevated the salad. 10-10. He finished off his meal with the sweet potato cheesecake that came with butter pecan ice cream, caramel drizzle and fresh whipped cream with strawberries and blueberries. Said that was amazing as well. Will be going back soon to try more!
Everything was beautiful and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the flavor of our food. My husband got steak and vegetables, I ordered the seafood trio and noodles. Our server and our drinks were awesome. We enjoyed our night.
We were there at noon for my father-in-law‘s 80th birthday. Our server was John and he was awesome! He was so attentive to our needs and we had a party of 17 people. Our drinks were always filled and our food came out not too long after ordering. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend and the next time we go we will be requesting John.
Went for wife's birthday. Enjoyed chicken piccata and chicken Alfredo. Both excellently prepared. Had drinks at the bar with Mike who treated us very well. Excellent evening topped off with the flaming birthday dessert.
So good and excellent views. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the walleye and a blackberry margarita. Everything was wonderful and it felt like a special end to our visit to Erie.
