it's amazing how you walk into the store to place an order and tell you that they don't take walk ins then tell you take your call the store or order online. then when you call to place an order it's a call center and when it got delivered it was cold and soggy. they need to go back to the original way of doing business or just close the stores. apparently you don't care about customers.

I ordered a pizza with sausage and to double the sausage and I paid extra for the sausage and this is what I received. It was supposed to have sausage on the whole pizza not half. Very disappointed!

Was told that they were backed up and was not taking orders at this time. Isn't the point of any business to make money, not turn customers away? This is about as unprofessional as it gets. I understand you're backed up and I understand my order will take longer to get, but you never tell a customer they can't place an order because you're backed up and then hang up on said customer. That's insane!

Would put zero if I could. I have ordered here for years. Heres what happened. Hope corporate takes time to clean up the mess that is Papa Johns in the Erie area. Used to be my favorite pizza. My wife and I got a date night and had a late night craving so ordered a pizza around midnight on Saturday. After ordering we went and picked it up and there was one person working. After bringing the pizza home we noticed #1 it was not hot, #2 it was not as ordered (well done, cut in squares, and on one extra cheese). We then tried to call not necessarily to complain at first but to let them know of the mess up. The phone was picked up and left off the hook as we could hear the employee talking to someone in the background about how he was the only one working and that they had a bunch of calloffs. He never did pick up the phone as we sat there for a few minutes waiting to even be greeted. We then tried to call the Manager line with no avail. I tried again a few minutes later and was able to get someone on the line and they then refunded the order and told us that they have a "Papa Guarantee" and would replace the order for free. For which we followed up on the next day and spoke to another manager and he stated it was never put in correctly and that he would fix it. We then waited a few days and planned a small party with our kids and told them we would be having a Papa Johns pizza night and called to order on the manager line as we were instructed to on Sunday... and the gentlemen stated that the order was voided and he was not able to do anything about it. Which was quit upsetting to my wife as she had a party planned and this was part of it. The guy on the phone then stated that due to my wife being upset and slightly raising her voice that he was not going to be spoken to this way (did not try to de-escalate the situation in any way or show any empathy whatsoever. Or even a simple we apologize that this happened... honestly he could care less. Then my wife just mentioned we are trying to resolved this situation and avoid putting THIS very review and he said... "one bad review wont hurt us"... then hung up on her. I would highly suggest avoiding all Papa Johns in the Erie are anymore. They are employee unempathetic, unsympathetic employees who could care less about the brand. Just want their pay checks and could care less about keeping customers or trying to understand the situation. Quite disappointing after years of loyal service. Go to Patti's Pizza they seem to care more about their customers

I am truly hoping she was just having a rough day. We love this pizza and location. But excessively slamming the cash register drawer, slamming the palm of her hand down, because she is clearly irritated, made the experience very unpleasant.

Tell your employees not to save half their vape for when they walk inside. Don't want them unnecessarily contaminating the food with whatever garbage they put in there to make you want it. I don't want it. Don't force it on me. Keep it outside behind the building away from people. So rude.

The driver stole my food. They must be very poor and needed it more than I did.
