I think the owner is rude. He was very standoffish when I was there. I went in the morning no one was there. I waited 20 min before I even seen anyone. Again just very rude not a good attitude towards new customers. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone out of town trying to enjoy Erie. Best advice stick to state street and the bay.

Stopped in here one afternoon recently when visiting Erie and loved it. It's a dive bar in the very best sense. One review called it "rough around the edges" and I agree. But again, in the best way. Everyone - clientele, the owner, and bartender - were so nice. We were taking turns buying rounds with the locals. The food is outstanding and clearly made with care. The owner brings Amoroso rolls, he clearly knows what he's doing. I truly wish we lived closer to this place because I could see hanging out here on a regular basis for cheap drinks, fantastic food, and live music!
