I live in Pittsburgh but I've been here I think 5 times now, it's my favorite restaurant hands down. Ive probably sent about ten people here over the years and everyone's loved it. True homemade food, you can taste the love in every bite. What I love too is you can bring picky eaters here, they can have a burger or fried chicken and you can try something new and unique every time.

The food and service were excellent. The building was a bit worn out but not too noisy. Parking was limited.

Everyone was extremely pleasant and welcoming. And the FOOD!!Absolutely delicious. I had the butternut squash, mouth watering. Everyone at my table devoured their food. The children were served first which was very much appreciated.

As we entered Pineapple Eddie's we were met by the friendliest staff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting from the moment we walked in...I was checking out all their awards and I knew we had to be in a good place! ...we are from out of town so we checked reviews before going. We were seated and we had Jasmine as our server. She was so polite and took good care of us. My husband started the evening with an order of their AMAZING BROWN SUGAR BOURBON ๐ WINGS...If you want your mouth to salivate and sing like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck...you need these!
I also started off with their Mango Hibiscus Margarita ๐น ๐ let's just say we were off to a winning start without even ordering dinner yet. As we were deciding what to order, I decided to get the Moroccan Stew with adding grilled shrimp ๐ค and my hubs ordered the Ribeye Steak. The flavor of the Moroccan stew so so amazing and I tasted my husband steak....buttery ๐ medium rare perfection! Highly recommend this warm inviting location and staff to all new comers! We loved everything ๐ And I am highly disappointed Goggle will not allow me to upload all the good pictures I took ๐ข ๐

Pineapple Eddies was a nice surprise. Feels like a homey hole in the wall, with excellent food! Much bigger inside than it looks. We went a bit later in the evening on a Saturday so the biggest obstacle for us was that they were running out of the dishes we wanted to order, and they were busy. However this is also a good sign that the food is freshly prepared every week since they are closed Sunday - Tuesday! Overall the southern/ caribbean fusion was excellently prepared, flavorful, and delicious, the drinks were awesome, and we left happy! Go earlier if you go on a Saturday!

Really enjoyed this place. It isn't flashy, but it's nice, quiet, and really good southern upscale food without the same pricing.

The food was pretty good, but a bit hit or miss. The hush puppies were good but were served at room temp. I got the bourbon brown sugar chicken and was thoroughly underwhelmed. Too salty and not enough sweet. After seeing my brothers Chicken and Waffles, I realized I made the wrong choice. My wife got the chicken Marsala (or was it madeira). In any guess, she said it was good but nothing special. We both thought our salads had seen a bit too much time in the fridge. My side of rice and beans was spot on though. The star for us was the cornbread muffins they brought out for the meal. Those were 5 star. The service was good and we liked the atmosphere.

Great food, yummy drinks, great vibe and kind employees
The website and sign on the door says their hours are 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday to Friday. We drove an hour to get here at 8 pm and they were closed for what appears to be the whole day.

I had an amazing time here. If you crave or want to try southern food, this place might be the spot in Erie. This place is one of my personal favorite restaurant in erie. The staffs were friendly and polite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The place is busy. On the other note, I highly recommend the Bourbon chicken. If you are not sure what to try I genuinely believe this dish is worth your time and money.
The one downside I can think of is the parking. There might not be space during busy hours, itโs all street parking.
