More or less just ok. I am an area native (born and raised) who now lives in another State and I go to Sara’s religiously every chance I get when we go back home. It’s been a handful of years since our last visit but we made sure to go before we flew out yesterday June 7, 25. The line wasn’t as long as usual so that was unexpected for a great Saturday at the Peninsula. For one, they either 86’ed or did not have the Italian Beef Sandwich. That has been my go to for years. The girl at the register did not get my order right and gave me the wrong hotdog meal. The dogs were barely warm when they came out. Onion Rings were ok, but not the same. They were not “bite through”, almost every one pulled the onion out. Mistake in prep? Curly fries were nice and hot so I guess we got lucky and got fresh ones. The one thing that has made it thru was the Cream-sickle Twist Cone, however, I do believe they are charging more, for less. I know this seems petty, but I am old school and had become accustomed to the history and experience, and as a “non-tourist”tourist of sorts, I expected more. I guess Sara’s has not escaped the COVID curse that is still affecting the service industry today. Take it, or leave it. We will go again when we come back to the area, if it is still around, to give it another shot. But my guess is that a lot of locals are not frequenting Sara’s like they used to either. C’mon Sara’s you can get things back to the high standards again with the right people and quality control.

The onion rings are not the same quality they used to be and a cup of orange sherbet now comes in 1/3 of the size the shakes come in. Looks like dome size lid is all. I was appalled at the downsizing of the cup now. Don’t waste your money or time. It used to be what I looked forward to when come to Presque Isle each year but the past few I’ve been disappointed coming here.

Classic diner fare at its best! Great food, generous portions, and a satisfying meal that left everyone full and happy. A timeless spot for comfort food.

Fun place! Great milkshakes. Food basic ice cream stand standards. For as many people who were there we got served fairly quickly

We've been frequenting Sarah 's. For many, many years and this is the first year I'm pretty sure we won't come back. One of our favorite things to get is the onion rings and I'm not sure if they were trying to save money or whose idea was it to change it but they were absolutely dreadful. They tasted like Mrs. Paul's onion rings out of the freezer. The coating was disgusting and the onions inside were mush. Really really sad that you would change something that was so good. Just to save money?

Food is way overpriced for the quality. Burgers are like high school cafeteria quality meat. Messed up both me and my friend’s orders. Save your money for somewhere else

Like the peanut butter frozen yogurt. But I would like it just as much for 25% less. I don't think there's any tariffs on any of the ingredients here.

Loved this American classic type of diner. Everything was wonderful except no real inside seating and it was windy, cold, and uncomfortable outside. But again this place was super cool everything about it and around it took me way back on a wonderful memory journey. The chocolate sunday was great and the burger patty was thick and good.
