Gluten free and arguably the most reasonably priced GF dinner in town. Great customer service even though they were hopping on a Saturday night!

Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options — gluten free pasta was delicious. I got the chicken Rivera that was served with mushrooms and tomatoes over cream sauce. It tasted like the Pasta Chovy’s before they closed.

Kid-friendliness: Children’s menu had some nice options for $5 each!...

Went on a Thursday early evening. The place was unorganized, you could tell there was setting but it look more like a storage section. Homemade signs everywhere, just wasn't given of food service. The food was reheated, not sure when the two small pieces of fish were cooked
The sides were tasty, everything seasoned well and price is good. Customer service was good also.

As a black person, I think we eat takeout soulfood cause it's tedious...

This was my first time visiting Syd's even though I have lived in Erie my entire life. The restaurant was understaffed the night we visited, but the two waitresses working were phenomenal. They were attentive, efficient, and patient with the crowd. Orders were taken promptly, accurately, and the food was served hot, fresh, and to order. The food was full of flavor and competitively priced. Definitely will be adding Syd's to our rotation of restaurants to visit
